Amarite 1200 lbs Capacity Hand Crank Winch Manual Operated Hand Winch ATV Boat Trailer.

I wanted to use the winch to help pull my 200 lb kayak onto my trailer from the water. The difficult part was mounting it to my trailer as I didn't want to drill into the trailer frame to attach it. I had to add some bars and bolts from my local hardware store. None of that is a knock on the winch, however. It seems plenty sturdy. I have seen no corrosion in the few months I have had it.

Very nice package strongly built. Easy mounting holes. Oh yeah, nice winch strap and great safety hook for boats.

Easy to install, but very cheap lasted 4 months of maybe 10 uses and gear teeth bent and bolt that holds locking leaver snapped on the lake so made my trip home very stressful having to use ropes to hold my boat on the trailer. Better off spending the cash on the main thing holding your boat on the trailer and go with something heavy duty

After just the second time of using this winch, the bolt at the crank snapped off. The old one on it lasted for quite sometime, I actually still have it ”luckily “ and have no choice right now to reuse it. Poor material on this winch!!! I suggest you buy one for a little more money that is of better quality!!!

Gears are made with soft steel. Teeth stripped out after 3rd use. Very soft metal. Typical china product

Great product for the price

Replaced 1 1/2 ton hand ratcheting steel cable winch. Simplified entire operation because of the length of webbing. Previously had to use several cables of differing lengths to accomplish the same result that needed only one pull.
