Very nice and convenient
It's very sturdy and I like that it's comes with protective covers for the board and stone holders it even comes with straps to hold the the lids shut. I'm no expert on the game or it's pieces and board but for someone like me who was interested in learning and playing with friends it's great

Far better than expected
I thought about going with a more expensive option and decided not to based on the good reviews for this Go set. It is outstanding! Really happy with the look and feel.

Nicely Packaged
Good quality, thoughtfully packaged, and just like the one out of the Korean and Japanese dramas. Lol Don’t forget to watch the tutorials on YouTube etc. Well worth the purchase. Enjoy!

Lovely set that will last a lifetime
I bought this Go set for my husband for Christmas as he has become interested in the game. I did quite a bit of research before choosing this board as I wanted a solid starter set that would last him for many, many years of play. I also wanted something that was good value for the money, I really feel I found that.The board is a beautiful, smooth, high quality bamboo with a lustrous finish. It is two sided so that you can play the full game of Go or a training game on the opposite side. There is a felt case for the board for storage. The board was solid.....about an inch thick, so no worries about it breaking, etc.The stones came in the traditional black and white and they had a lovely clicking sound to them. I understand that this is traditional, but some sets sell cheaper plastic versions that are not as satisfying.....these have a great heft to them. They each have their own bamboo container and those are stored in a black carrying case.I am really happy with the whole set. It is a good value for the money.

Exceptional for the Price
It's big and it's quality material....except the little "chips" itself seems a little less quality but the WOOD is exceptional.
