This is an excellent kettle.
I drink a lot of tea, so I needed a good kettle--and this one is it! It’s well made with durable, nice looking materials, it heats quickly thanks to its wide bottom design, it is easy to fill because the handle is placed correctly and the lid is the perfect tightness, and is easy to use and pour. It also has a great whistle that fits well. Another thing I love is the rigid handle! The last thing you want is a loose handle that will drop to the side of the pot and get hot while heating. Worried about a leaky pour spout? Not on mine. Seamless, perfect construction. It is safe from rough/sharp edges, does not boil over, and is not hot when opening and pouring. Truly the best tea kettle on the market and extremely affordable too! I'm absolutely delighted with this--A GREAT WATER KETTLE!!

So far so good.
Did need to check/adjust the whistling copper sheet. The first time it didn’t whistle. Made sure to check the small paper included with a spare whistling part. Took it apart and put it back together. Tightened the screw and tried another session whilst enjoying a cuppa from the first. It takes about 20 minutes for the water to boil/whistle to be heard. I had my electric stove on medium (4) the first time then medium/high (5) the second.Filled both times under the max line. But about halfway or more covering the spout holes on the inside. Made hot water. It works. Both times gave plenty of steam but having adjusted for the second time I could actually hear a nice calming single note whistle. It is almost more like a soft string instrument note rather than an annoyingly loud whistle. Is that normal? Can’t complain.I tried to release some steam through the dust cover on the spout *carefully* so that condensation wouldn’t cover the copper plates too much inside. Gave it a few tries (opening then closing) for about ten seconds each time and I noticed the whistle more clearly. Very light, but fine.Letting it cool before I wipe it dry with a cloth. I like the classic style. It’s far lighter than I expected as I’m used to lugging around heavier kitchen ware. Again, can’t complain. The handle surprisingly stays cool enough to the touch even after getting some condensation from the steam.Hoping it doesn’t break. Happy with the purchase.

Pretty kettle
I really hope that they all want this device to function normally and maintain its appearance. The whistle is loud enough to be heard in the next room, but it is not annoying. The handle is easy to hold, and only when the flame is too big, the handle will become overheated. If you put it inside the edge of the bottom of the kettle, it will not be too hot. I will not regret my purchase and I will recommend it to my friends and family.

Basic teakettle
The kettle is a little thin, but consider the price. The kettle is seamless, which is a requirement for me. This wouldn’t be something I would use every day and expect it to hold up, but I plan to use it for traveling or camping. I think it will be acceptable for occasional use. The whistle is not loud, but you can hear it if you are in the same room.

Really great kettle
I have not used it enough to try the whistle properly but even if it never whistles I still am extremely happy with the purchase. I moved into a caravan (it was more economical than trying to build a tiny house) and have access to mains electric but I am trying to rely on it less but refuse to give up my coffee. I exchanges my preground coffee for whole beans to get a course grind for my French press (I also got a manual coffee grinder). I use this kettle every morning to heat the water for coffee. It looks really nice and I am extremely happy with this kettle.Addendum - got the 'reed' positioned properly and it hums more than whistles. I really like the sci-fi sound.

This Kettle Does Not Whistle At All!!
The product is very shiny and pretty to look at. However, the main feature of this kettle is lacking ~~~ it does not whistle!Three different times I had attempted to boil water and wait for the kettle to whistle. First: when it contained less than the two liter limit; Second time: halfway filled with water, Third time: I put exactly one cup of water in it, and guess what?! Absolutely nothing happened! Each time that I checked this kettle the water was boiling furiously, but there was no sound at all ~~~ let alone a whistle that reminds you of a very loud sound that was mentioned in the description. I feel very disappointed with this purchase. I may as well have boiled water in a saucepan. Now I have to look for a kettle that really works as described.

Good quality kettle, low whistle!
I've been using this kettle for a couple weeks now and it's great. It holds 1.5L at its "max fill" line. Its whistle has a very very low pitch, a bit like a wooden flute, and I had to take the lid apart a couple of times to get it to work. You can hear it well, but not from across the house. I think it's a beautiful sound for early mornings. It pours nicely and the lid is very secure, but you cannot empty it completely (I tried both out the spout and the top, each left a few ml of water in the bottom). The handle warms up a little, just enough that I use an oven mitt to grab it for comfort. I love that its body is seamless, clean up is easy and I dont have to worry about it seeping. Great item for my family of daily tea and coffee drinkers.
