ALFA AWUS036NH 2W 2000mW Long-Rang USB Wireless N 802.11n WiFi Network Adapter+Mount+5dBi Antenna

This was significantly cheaper than other listings for this same device, and with the old mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. But it was as described, an Alfa AWUS036NH, new in box. Installation in Windows 10 couldn't be easier - just plug it in. Lives up to its reputation as a powerful long range wifi adapter.

Was not as advertised. Does not work with widows 10. Amazon needs to verify the products they sell. Making sure that everything they claim is correct. After having 6 different items purchased from amazon shipped to me either missing parts or will not perform as stated I'm beginning to think that they are getting all there products from "Wish" I'm definitely at the point of taking my business elsewhere. Of course Amazon won't care. But one person is a start

I bought this unit but what I got in the box was a different one. It looks the same except instead of a 2 on it it said 1. Not even the model number was the same. I live in a rural area that's why I ordered it but this doesn't have the power or range to make it to my patio. I was told that I would have to pay for the return n insurance on it n there might be a restocking fee. By the time I bought a box n padding n they did all of the above it wasn't worth sending it back or my time.

Compared with my other Wifi adapter which is an integrated Intel Pro Wireless 3945ABG (stock dell laptop card in 2007), this gives me twice the range. I had it automatically install on Win 7 Pro 32/64bit as well as Ubuntu 10.04 with no issues. It did take some time (15min and a reboot)on Ubuntu to install the preferred drivers from the manufacturer but I only needed those to use this adapter to do some Wifi security auditing demonstrations. If you are going all out with this adapter I would recommend also getting the 9dBi antenna, as a better antenna makes it just that much more efficient.

Have had this thing in constant use for 9 months. No problems, great reception. Plug and play.

This item is junk. The description is also a lie it only supports b/g bands.

works well with what it does, needed it for a class and worked well, the software was bad and couldn't be used well as i had to download drivers manually anyway (though you should do that anyway)

As per the manufacture webpage this mode should have Chipset Ralink RT3070, but on checking its different, does not work as described in the production of the amazon production description page. Need to update correct functions of the adapter. Thank you

Aunque dice que funciona y tiene drivers para mac 10.10 no funciona ! el programa o el controlador no lo reconoce, ademas, viene sin cd de instalacion.
