Works great!
I absolutely LOVE Seachem! I found out about their wonderful products watching Kaveman Aquatics on YouTube. I'm OH SO GLAD I did! I've had so much trouble with my tank. After a really bad ammonia spike, the PH just would not go back up. I bought this stuff because I had some plants that I didn't want to loose. Before it could be shipped, my plants died. That's how bad my tank had gotten! I still went ahead and dosed the tank as soon as I got it. ONE DOSE! My PH was perfect the next day! Also using Prime and Stability for a week has dropped my ammonia to 0 for the first time in months! I highly recommend Seachem! 👍

So far it has kept my snail tank stable. Use a scale.
So far my Ph and Kh have been stable in my snail tank. Many users in the hobby recommend adding after every water change to maintain a stable Ph and reduce the likelihood of crashes. I haven’t done this *every time* and my tank still seems happy. It’s also cheaper than crushed coral, but after purchasing I stumbled across some non-chemical solutions to do the same thing. Research before you purchase. There’re easy/cheaper/less risky methods.

Best if used w/acid buffer - Great for raising pH and KH
My tap water has very low KH, so I needed something to raise it to keep my tank from major pH fluctuations, such as from my new driftwood. If you are trying to hit a specific pH, you would do well to buy the Seachem acid buffer with this alkaline buffer and mix them with a specific ratio per the instructions on the container. I had just gotten a nice large piece of wood for my tank, and didn't have the time/space to soak it separately, so I put it directly in my tank. To keep the initial wood rot and tannins from lowering my pH significantly, I got this alkaline buffer, in addition to some activated carbon. I added just enough to raise my KH to about 4 degrees and the pH to about 7.4, which is where it was before the tannins started lowering it. pH has now stabilized to around 7.3-7.4. With tank cleaning/water changes, more buffer will eventually need to be added to keep things stable. It seems to be a decent product, and was very cheap, so I'm happy.

It's good, but baking soda is MUCH cheaper
This is typically used with the Seachem product Acid Buffer as a way to stabilize the pH of aquarium water. Both products work very well. I have used this product over the years, and bought it again when I set up a new fish tank. I was being a bit of a purist when I bought it, because I know that common, Arm and Hammer baking soda will also raise pH. You can use baking soda instead of this, and your aquarium will be just fine, even if you have delicate fish like cardinal tetras and a planted tank. I have used baking soda in a discus tank, too. The baking soda will release some salts that this product won't, but I've never had it be a problem. Just do your water changes at least every two weeks and all will be well. All will probably be well even if you don't do water changes, frankly. Buy this if you're super paranoid about keeping your water as close to perfect as possible. If you're on any kind of a budget, though, seriously consider using baking soda. You can combine it with Acid Buffer just like this product, and your fish will probably never know the difference. You really don't need this.

Works efficiently and perfectly
This product works extremely quickly and perfectly. Used in my axolotl aquarium to raise the pH and KH as pH was 6.6 and KH was blank zero, used this as within a few hours, pH was raised to 7.4 and KH was 4. I then re dosed 1 mL as a slight nudge and again, was a pH of 7.6 and KH of 5, perfect for my axolotl. Seachem is a brand I will always trust!
