Can’t believe it took me this long to figure out the solution to my problem. We keep a hose run from spigot on side of house across driveway to the backyard. I drive over the hose twice a day. Bought my husband new hoses because he says hoses never last anymore. He wanted to use the REALLY expensive new hose (compared to the two just “expensive” ones I bought to see what might last) in that spot but we agreed that would be stupor since I would be driving over it every day. All of a sudden it hit me there are covers for running hoses or cables through — really was a “I should have had a V-8 moment”.Found these, figured they’re cheaper than any of the hoses I bought, and ordered them. Literally took longer to unpack them than to “install”. Only needed 3 to cover the area behind my car. And they DON’T BUDGE as I drive over them twice a day.Can’t speak to longevity at this point but am very satisfied with the solution to my problem.

Works great to protect a garden hose that had to cross a graveles alley. The hose fit perfectly in the channel, and there's just enough flexibility for the pads to stay in the uneven gravel surface. The smell was pretty intense when I opened the package, but I'm using them outside, so it doesn't concern me. I'll update if there is a durability issue. These will be in full sun in a southern state.

A 5/8" garden hose fits perfectly. There was a plastic smell as others have said, but being outside it wasn't obnoxious and went away in about 2 days. Being a week installed, I don't know about durability yet.

Last year just laid them out, end to end, on a gravel driveway to protect my garden hose; worked ok but never stayed straight. There are molded "indents" for spikes which I utilized & now it stays neat & straight in spite of the traffic.

This is such a great product. We had high hopes it would work on the sidewalk to cover the cord to our pontoon boat and it did not disappoint! The quality is great and what an excellent value for our money. I highly recommend this product.

At Christmastime, we need to run electric cords across the driveway in a couple places. These cover up the cords when we drive over them, thus protecting the cords. I expect they will outlast me. They are very durable and will be used for many Christmas seasons.

Love this, we used it to cover up a garden hose that runs across our drive way. That way we don’t damage the hose. We also use it during the holidays to cover extension cords for lights. It’s must, very essential!
