Beach Umbrella Sand Anchor Red Pkg/1

The base is too wide and the blades are too short. I guess it needs a wide base so the umbrella will fit in, but the blades are too short to dig into the sand properly. After screwing it down to the handle, I was able to easily pull it out of the sand. I needed this because the screw that came attached to my umbrella broke, so I figured this would be cheaper than buying a new umbrella. That screw was impossible to just pull out of the sand, it had to be unscrewed. Can't say that for this anchor. Also, the plastic is very brittle and will likely break the first time it is dropped on a hard surface.

So I actually purchased this with the hope that I could use it in the grass to hold a beach umbrella and give shade to a kiddie pool in the backyard. It was a no go. The anchor could not hold the umbrella tight enough in regular dirt. I guess it's only good for sand. Oh well.

We used these to anchor our jet skis at sand bars and islands in the florida keys. The 5 blades are great and they were easy to use .would recommend these. We tied our jet ski to it and put an umbrella in it in shallow water..

We also used this to hold a beach umbrella in the sand and the soil. It worked great in the soil at the park, but not so much in the beach sand with the wind blowing so hard.

Where you goin? Your goin NO WHERE with this beach umbrella anchor. Highly recommend.

Love it. This actually has the fin size and overall length to hold in the sand. Holds the larger diameter umbrella poles as well.
