I am leading a group of men using this book. Great content! We read the book of Nehemiah along with it. The book trains men how to get real, emotionally intelligent, healthy and accountable.Excellent real life stories that drive home the points men need to hear. If you want to know how to be a disciple of Jesus in community and learn how to disciple others, read this book WITH A GROUP of other men! It buids a framework to get into the real stuff of life! Reject superficial Christianity!!

This is a great book for those who are in a battle with addictions or if you know so someone who is.

The book offered many ideas for both starting an accountability group and being accountable to those around you. While we do not live in a vacuum, it is important to share with others on how we are doing as Christian men.

if you have a compulsive habit you're trying to overcome and you're willing to go to any length to change it. This book will be a great benefit to you.

Another solid book from Mark Laaser - he has a way of providing practical daily living direction to assist with recovery.
