How do i change my modes? been following directions but it doesn’t change at all. a bit disappointed. any tips on how’s to fix?

The rubbery button that you press to change color, you need to hold that for a little bit then it switches through the modes :)

I want to make it shorter. Can i cut it the fiber optic and it still work?

Yes, the fiber can be cut short from the end. It cannot be cut from the end of the connecting handle. Optical fiber can emit light, but the granularity of light emission becomes smaller. You can cut a fiber for comparison.

Do I pull the fibers apart or leave them tight together?

Routine maintenance: The optical fibers should be separated to avoid being bundled together. If you are a beginner, please consult an experienced person to avoid whipping or hurting people or objects.
