Very nice bulb at a good price
This bulb gives a nice bright warm white light and the individual strands of LED give a good spread of light. We've got it in a metal shade which adds to the scatter. There is no visible warm-up, i.e. the light comes straight up to temperature. It's a nice thing to look at too (when it's off), with its clear glass globe and filament strands giving a modern yet retro look.This bulb replaced a fancy and expensive Plumen CFL bulb which had failed. The difference between LED and CFL is huge (possibly due to different Wattage equivalents) and I'll be replacing the other CFL with LEDs like this (size permitting) as they start to fail.

BROKE AFTER 6 MONTHSThey look very nice and when they work are really pretty. But after 6 months one of the two BROKE and would not work.The supplier was very awkward in not wanting to send a replacement.Not up to Amazon customer service.
