Worked great on the generator.

I got this to connect my new Westinghouse iGen4000DFc Inverter Generator to the Solar Inverter Charger Controller in my Tiny Home/RV. This is the only TT-30P to NEMA 20R adapter plug/cord I could find on Amazon. Luckily, this AC Works brand cord is excellent in quality. In fact, it is so good that I quickly ordered and just received a second one to keep on hand.I have a very high end NEMA 5-20 extension cord that goes from the front of my Tiny Home/RV Trailer to my Solar Inverter Charger Controller that's mounted amidship inside. I wanted to be able to connect my elctrical system to the 30 amp outlet on my inverter generator. This way my system can briefly draw on the full capabilities of my generator even when it is in eco mode.I wrapped the connection between the AC Works Adapter and the NEMA 5-20 cord with self-fusing waterproof silicone tape.

Well made, must-have item for RVers.

We use this for our double deep fryer, which draws approximately 15 amps each via 2x 115v plugs. Our RV uses the 50 amp plug at the parks, so we use it on the available 30 amp plug to fry catfish and fries. That said, most RV parks are wired for either 50 amp or 30 amp and are not intended to use both simultaneously because the 30 amp plug draws its power from one leg of the 50 amp breaker (the 50 amp is really 100 amps split into 2 legs) when not in use. So we're able to monitor the power draw on the second leg via our Watchdog surge protector, and generally have to turn off the AC units to free up amperage until we're through frying. Otherwise, you can throw circuit breakers. On a side note, this extension cord is for RV park power plugs and not the lock in type for generators.
