RECEIVED THE BOOK VERY QUICKLY, HAVE ENJOYED READING IT.

This amazing book by Kit Kemp is simply inspiring. The ability to piece together eclectic mixes of furniture, fabrics , artworks, etc. into workable and joyous spaces that appeal to the soul but are still cool and contemporary, is a talent that is deserving of the recognition that abounds her. From hotel design to the intimacy of her own home , she shares her theories on design, making them easily understood and accessible for everyone. The wonderful collage of photos add to the inspiration that perhaps we can all achieve the same results . It is an adventure for the senses, wherever you look there is always more to see, no matter how many times you may view the same space. A must have if you appreciate interior design and aspire to create beautiful spaces that are personal , rich and never dull.

I love this book!!! I read and own many books about interior design and this is one of the best! Many design books have beautiful pictures of beautiful rooms, but many of them look "designed" and are over styled for the photographs and impossible to believe that an actual person lives in these rooms. The recently released Barbara Barry book, "Around Beauty", is a prime example. Walk into one of her showrooms, and there is the book. Kit Kemp's book is full of life and inspiration. Pictures of detailed rooms, full of beautiful fabrics, personal objects, colours, textures, put together in quirky,interesting, fun and inventive ways. To me, her designs have a very easy, comfortable feel, never pushed, or over reaching in their goals. I am inspired by this book every time I look through it.

Gorgeous Style.. I stayed at The Ham Yard Hotel in London one that Kit Kemp designed and loved it so much I purchased the book! Amazing design inspiration! Can't wait to redecorate my new home with these tips! Love it!

Love the Hotels ........love selling them to clients, love staying in them, love Kit's design talent, but this book is not the quality I would expect to represent their empire.My cover was damaged in the corner and book pages quality paper is not good quality. It does not feel good to touch. It appears the book is the perfect 'brochure' for them to showcase their hotels, by placing in the rooms, but for me to spend my money for hotel brochure, not a lovely design book to cherish_ a resounding NO.

The rooms and ideas are gorgeous. The fabrics are beautiful and most likely very expensive but ideas abound. Loved looking at the pictures. Only problem for apartment dwellers is all rooms are generously proportioned. Nevertheless very beautiful.

I am three quarters of the way through reading this and think it is excellent. As mentioned by other reviewers a lot of the properties are hotels. She seems to have plenty and I would love to stay in them. Kit Kemp's style is what I would describe as comfortable and homely, therefore the images she chooses are easily translatable to a family home. She blends all types of furniture and fabrics together for what I think is a lovely style, it's underlying theme is essentially traditional but there are plenty of interesting or surprising touches and lots of use of modern pieces, art and fabrics alongside antiques, ethnic patterns and quirky ornaments. She is clearly very talented as I found that nothing jars and I adore her use of colour - which happens to be right up my street. She is particularly interested in fabrics and adopts some innovative ways of using them. Somehow she blends pattern and colour to just the right extent. It is not too matched or overdone and the rooms are welcoming and cheerful. Her commentary is helpful, explaining what she has done to achieve a particular look. I have gleaned loads of ideas for a barn conversion I am about to furnish so I am very glad I bought this book. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in interiors unless you are a minimalist or like bling, in which case it is not your style (but I think you can see this from the cover).

I brought this book for my mother . I have brought her many of these types of books over the years . She said it was a Absolutely beautiful book and it is in a top 3 of all time .

I love KIT KEMPS interiors. Just can’t stop looking through this book. I am already looking to buy her other interiors books. Wish I had discovered her years ago. Photography amazing.

This is a stunning book. Having worked in one of her hotels years ago I expected it to be good but it is really glorious. I takes great skill to pull together all the different fabrics and colours she uses. On almost every page there were ideas which I would never have thought of and the way she marries together all the different colours, textures and patterns is superbly done.

Another good offering from one of teh best designers of our time. Self taught and breaks all the rules and sometimes unruly and unbalanced, but always inspiring
