20 X 16 Bass Drum Casae, Black, 20" x 16" (1620-PRR)

A year ago, I bought, second hand, a Protection Racket bag for my kick drum and have used it a great many times when going to different gigs. Having done so, I have found the bag to provide excellent protection for the drum. Its thick fake fleece provided considerably more protection than some of the cheaper bags I have used in the past so when I saw that this collection of bags was on sale, I immediately ordered it. Since I already had a Protection Racket kick drum bag, I very quickly found a friend wanting to buy my extra one.Now I needed to buy a somewhat smaller kick drum for gigs where the riser doesn't provide much room and getting a ProtectionRacket kick drum case was simply a no brainer for me. While the delivery of this case took a few days longer to be delivered than the 14" floor tom case I ordered at the same time, it is now here and I am happy. In addition to the heavy fleece protection, each bag has a side tag stating what size drum it is for so you do not have to waste time putting the drum in the wrong bag. On a side note, I am a reviewer of film and editing equipment for magazines and often review camera bags. When I do, the first thing I look at is the quality of the zippers. The same applies to these drum bags. The zippers are large and heavy which is what you want. Their sturdiness will provide a considerably longer life to the bag than any of those thin plastic zippers that often come apart on cheaper bags. The material used on the bags is definitely tough. If you looked at my 1st kick drum bag, you might see some scuff marks but you won't see any stressing of the material or ruined zippers.My only complaint is that the bag was stuffed in a flat box for delivery. This crushed the bag, not very neatly if I may say so. Yet, after a couple of uses, the bends in the material have disappeared and all will be well, but it definitely should have been shipped in a more conducive manner. Ultimately, no harm done.The Protection Racket bags offer very solid and safe protection to your drums and ensure against drops, dings and scratches.I do hope that this review has been of some help to you in deciding your purchase.Thanks for reading.

I ordered a 20x 18 when I needed a 22x 18..The bag is very sturdy, well stitched and my bass drum is both easy to put in and take out of the bag thanks to the fleece lining. Wish it had a shoulder strap. But by far Protection Racket has the best soft drum bags on the market in my opinion.

I own about 12 Protection Racket drum cases. They are the best I've found. I play over 50 gigs a year, so quality and protection is very important to me. I can't recommend them highly enough.
