Leaking after 6 months
2007 Mercedes Benz S550 4matic. Just had a mechanic replace this since they were replacing a decent amount of the airmatic suspension already. I was having car too low and adjusting warnings pretty regularly and assumed it was from the only things I didn't replace, my front suspension. I have it sit for 4 hours and I come out to the front being too low and not willing to go up. It leaves me stuck 20 miles from anything with a wrench so I had to get it towed. I find out my suspension is fine but the back of the block is leaking from a seam in the plastic. The mechanic confirmed with a leak down test. Thing couldn't even last a year and even that would be too short of a lifespan. Poor craftsmanship with a return window of only one month. Don't waste your time with this one.

Better than oroginal
Better than original valve. It is brass threat instead of oroginal valve with plastic mounting threats. Original part cost $350 and fragile. Don't pay ridiculous price. This part is better than dealer parts.

short term fix only - only 6 mo warranty
BEWARE ONLY 6-MONTHS WARRANTY. THIS IS A STUPID BASIC PART, THERE IS NO REASON IT SHOULDN'T HAVE A 12-MONTH + WARRANTY.Mine went 10 months and broke down in the lake of the Ozarks on Sunday 4th of July weekend. There were no rental places open and had to uber a hour away to Jeff city to get a rental.Repair took a week to get in / get parts / install. Luckily there was a reputable repair place that works on euros. If not, it would have been a flatbed to a dealership in Columbia 1.5 hours away. 5 days car rental, 5.25 hours down, 5.25 hours back. Food spoiled in coolers sitting in the heat for a week.I know that's not what I thought about when I purchased it, but whats the worst case scenario where you could be stuck?
