Overall, I really like this chalkboard. It came with bright chalk markers, which really pop on the black chalkboard, and cloths to clean it. I wish there was a blue chalk marker as well! It also came with regular chalk - mine was broken into lots of small pieces when I got it, but it’s still usable. There were 4 magnets that I have yet to use, but they seem to stick very well to the chalkboard.The frame is a beautiful color. When I received my chalkboard, one I’d the corners was coming out of the frame. I pushed it back in, and it seems to be holding just fine.

Looks good, but difficult to hang since the hooks for stringing a wire are very close to the top. The wire must be very tight to not show above the top of the frame.

Unfortunately none of the chalk markers work. My 6 year old loves writing notes on it and drawing pictures!

I'm so pleased with this item! It's very hard to find a well made framed chalk board and this is the best one I've seen as far as quality craftmanship goes. I just wanted a weekly dinner menu board and this is ideal. Perfect size for my kitchen nook area. Editing to add that it wipes clean with no ghosting when you dampen the cloths they send with it. Perfect! I'm very happy with purchase.

My initial Chalkboard came completely damaged. It was unhinged to the wooden frame in addition to chipped wood and unfinished stain. Also, the chalk came broken in multiple pieces. The seller reached out to me personally to resolve the issue and sent a new replacement within days. I’m very satisfied with the new product, but most importantly the great customer service. I really disliked that my chalk markers were dried up and wouldn't work. We had to open them up and put water in them before they would work very annoying and time consuming I just want to pick up and write. It serves it's purpose as a message board in my kitchen, sturdy and easy to clean real wood.

I was a little leery of getting this since I had problems with other magnetic chalkboards in the past but this one arrived in perfect shape and it works great. I certainly don't have any of the problems some others have had. The frame is perfect, there are no bubbles on the chalkboard surface, it's easy to clean, the markers work great and magnets definitely stick to it well, they won't fall off anytime soon.

This is awesome looking and fits my needs perfect. I went to the craft store and bought a 1 dollar medal bucket to hang on the knob and I use it to hold the chalk.
