Saga Book Three

If you’re into comics and you haven’t read Saga yet idk what you’re even doing. Why are you reading reviews on Amazon? Saga is infinitely better than all of them. Especially this one. Read it now! (But start at the beginning—what are you even doing here if you haven’t read the beginning? Who ARE you?) Also, this collection features some awesome backmatter and I adore the artwork by Fiona Staples. She is unrivaled.

So much happens in this tome with such joy and incredible sadness. The black pages followed by white was the first "oh my god" break your heart scene and the scene on the couch when she sings just crumpled my poor soul. From there the last couple of chapters unleash hell upon our beloved f*ups that I did not expect.It has been far too long since new material has been made. This book marks the halfway point in the Saga so I really hope that ideas are brewing for new comics during the pandemic.There is a good interview between the creators at the end.Highly recommend all three book collections made so far. Saga is in my top 10 comics.

This third installment is on par with Books 1 and 2 in every way--the writing, the illustrations, the humor, the heartbreak--it's all present and accounted for. If you've enjoyed the series so far, this is a must-read.This format is amazing. The book is beautiful and big and the colors jump off the page.

These hardcover compilations are gorgeous; large well-inked easy to read panels. Book three is essential reading if you are a fan of the series; full of emotion and really draws you in, some edge of your seat thrills along the way. The ending of this issue is heart-wrenching and I can't wait to get my hands on book four. If you aren't reading Saga, what are you waiting for? Honestly, the best graphic novel series to come along in a good long while. Pick up Book 1 straight away.

This third installment did not disappoint. Bringing more intensity and emotions along with the same gorgeous art and story. Warning, the end left me devastated, almost through the book in frustration and sadness.

Packaging for once was goodThe storyline is wonderful with dialogue that round out characters even in an fantastical manner. The art is the only reason to buy this book though. Fiona staples truly knocks it put off the park! I don’t even like fantasy anger I’ve fallen in love with this story. Image does a nice job with the deluxe editions of saga...but it!

Saga Book Three continues to be a fantastic series. Writing that feels relevant to today, with the right amount of humor and heart. The art is still perfect for the fantasy/scifi book. The sad thing is that this is the temporary end to the series as it's on hiatus.

If you know Saga, then I don't need to explain why this is a beautiful book. As with the Book One and Book Two hardback oversize collected editions of 18 issues each (equivalent to 3 of the 6 issue trade paperbacks), this presents the compelling creation of Brian K Vaughn and Fiona Staples in it's very best light (and *dark* - you know what I mean). A gorgeous physical object in it's own right, the book is to be treasured for the continuing ....well...saga of Hazel, her parents and the weird and wonderful characters that she grows up with and the scarily familiarly ****ed up universe they all inhabit - even if it all looks different, there's good and bad in here and you can recognize a lot of contemporary issues and concerns played out in a hauntingly wonderful science fantasy setting. Just buy it and cherish it.

Bought as a present for my husband, he loves it! The artwork is superb and the story addictive, he has been recommending it to everyone!

I love it! Been waiting for the third book for a year and now I am counting the days for the 4th...

Great again from the creators and this omnibus type books are well made, amazing tale.
