Col. Conk Men's Almond After Shave Balm Lotion New

It's so so. The fragrance ia the same as the shave soap however like other reviewers noted it doesn't last beyond a few minutes and it just becomes lotion after that. No scent left at all. You do smell like Jergens though. Not worth $23 by a long shot. I'd say this is worth $5.99 at best.

The bottle and cap for the balm are of very inferior materials. When you shake out some balm into your hand, you are also likely to get some material that appears to be from the disintegrating cap. Not good. Also, the label is not well affixed to the bottle. The balm is quite good, not too overly scented. Just getting to it is the problem.

Smell lasts about 5 minutes. Smells like Cherry and Almond. The only good thing is that it does leave your face smooth. Won't buy again because it's too expensive. I'll just stick to Nivea balm and aftershave of my choice as a good combo after wet shaving. Still hoping that one day someone will make a true Almond aftershave.

Just ok. Fragrance doesn't stay long. Have to wash my hands after applying it to me face. I prefer lotion but not a balm.

I use to purchase Caswell Massey Almond After Shave Balm. They once ran out of it on their web site but was offering Col. Conk. I love the sent and soothing feeling the product gives but I still have a bias in favor of the Caswell Massey product. I admit that if I tried the Col.'s version first, I would probably say the same thing in reverse. (I use the Gillette Power ProGlide for reference.)

I have been buying this item for years and have really enjoyed it, but now they have really gotten CHEAP and started watering it down. A little bit would go a long way, but now it comes out very thin, I will be looking for another product in the future.

This product is more of a lotion than a wet alcohol type of aftershave when first applied. However it drys fast and is not oily like a had lotion and leaves you race smooth and smelling very nice. One of my more favorite aftershaves.

I love the smell. Goes great with my Taylor's Almond shave cream. Leaves your skin feeling smooth and fresh. I would recommend this product to anyone who loves the smell of almonds. Will try there other aftershave products for sure.
