Origin8 Pro Pulsion Single Speed Crankset, Black

Medium to lightweight crankset. I bought it to replace an old one on my Fuji track bike and it works great. Pretty great set for the price. I paired it with a new SHIMANO UN55 BB Square Taper Bottom Bracket and a KMC single speed chain. Installation was simple. Over 300 miles later and there are no signs of wear or unnecessary rubbing with the chain.

This chainring is off center, causing the chain to go from tight to very loose during one rotation. Didn't discover the problem until too late to return. Was able to loosen chainring and adjust the centering to be equal. Looks great on the bike.

It’s a very nice crankset, I always liked origin8s parts. For the price they are always high quality. Only thing I didn’t like was the cranks I received did not have the pro-pulsion logo on the side they are just blank black crank arms

will not work with 8 speed Shimano chain.

Ordered them with a 3/32" chain for my project bike (as per the answer to the question above). I installed them and it is very obviously not milled for a 3/32" chain. Hoping for some resolution, since my bike is unrideable at the moment.EDIT: The folks at bicycle addiction reached out and sent me the appropriate chainring. Great, quick customer service.Just be aware that the stock chainring is milled for 1/8" when you buy!Thanks

Snapped my crank arm off in the middle of an intersection with a cheap single speed. Replaced them with this set and it feels more true and solid.

Product worked well for a few months until the pedal came unthreaded during a casual ride. Upon checking the drive side crank, i realized it was stripped out ,making me very sad. The ride quality was amazing until that night.
