Enjoyed the movie many years ago

Loved this movie! Star-studded cast that delivers, but Jennifer Lewis steals the show as the interfering mother-in-law! Excellent story of love, sacrifice, heart break, healing... and what can happen when too many people are in a marriage!

For a real change, marital difficulties from a black man's point of view. Our bread winner, Morris Chestnut, has a promising sports career blown up by injury. His spouse goes on to be successful in her own right, while failing to see how he is still impacting the people around him even though he is no longer a million dollar ball player. He continues to try and save his marriage while dealing with a plethora of outside influences including a burdensome mother-in-law. While continuing to help others he manages to avoid the temptation to wander outside his marriage even though it appears to to be over. This one tends to break the stereotype society has of most black men and is well worth the viewing.

I really enjoyed this movie. I would highly recommend watching this movie as a reminder to us all regarding holy matrimony.

The couple in this movie appear to have a good marriage. The husband has his own business, and he's a volunteer coach for a little league team. His wife is in real estate, and she's moving up the career ladder. But the husband wants kids, and the wife feels children would get in the way. Plus, she is resentful of the time he spends with the little league team. The husband also doesn't seem to take his wife's feelings into consideration. After a car accident, their marriage experiences cracks that threaten to pull them apart.It did seem to me that too much emphasis was put on the wife having to compromise. Overall, the subtle Christian message about keeping marriages strong is good. However, the script should have put more emphasis on the husband making bigger efforts to meet his wife halfway.

Not Easily Broken [DVD] [2009 ]If anyone thinks marriage is easy or that having everything perfect in marriage is a given, it would be good to see this film. If your marriage is great you can understand why and this film sort of reminds you what goes into making a great relationship between a husband and his wife. If your marriage is suffering this film may show why you can persevere in the Lord and see things turn around. This film touched me deeply and even though some of the experiences the couple faced were not necessarily what I have faced in my marriage they definitely touched on the difficulty of appreciating what your spouse brings into that relationship and who they are and I could relate to that wholeheartedly. Best of all the film shows realistically why marriage works best when we build and grow our marriage relationship in the Lord Jesus. This film as far as i am concerned is a really good and entertaining film. Interestingly though I actually appreciated Eddie Cibrian's character in this film. Captivating narrative told in this great movie which features some interesting characters of which you'll recognise from low budget movies and tv soaps. A must watch!

This is one of my better purchases......this was both funny and sad considering it was a true story it should have ended no other way than it did. I ordered this while I was in America and the service was still great.

I am great fan of Morris Chestnut and enjoyed his performance. I found the film funny and at times emotional and handled the subject of death and relationships among Afro-Caribbean well.

A terrific tale about life love friendship and and tragedy and as for Kevin Hart he wouldn,t have to say a word and he,d still b funny i also have to praise Albert Hall for a fine performace you really beleive he is a Bishop he played his part that well
