MindWare 13818683 Paint Your Own Stone

This was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old. He enjoyed painting it, for sure! It looks quality and like it'll really last and not break too easily. However we were disappointed that out of the 12 paint colors to choose from, we couldn't do what we originally planned because 5 of them were completely dried up! We completely used up some of the colors just trying to do his then preferred color scheme.

I was really disappointed I ordered 3 of these a couple months ago. When I opened them all 3 had dried up paint in them. I've ordered other styles with no issue and luckily kept the extra paint or I wouldn't have been able to paint these with my grandchildren. If you order these open them right away and check the paint otherwise you could be in for a surprise.

My five year old twin nephews painted this turtle for their Mimi' s birthday present. They had fun and were so happy with their surprise. Directions are clear and just use your imagination. The paint will wash off hands with soap. We did not get any on clothes so don't know how well it will wash. Baking the final product is easy.

The only reason I'm rating low is because I was given the wrong turtle. I ordered the 3D turtle but was sent the turtle stepping stone. No reason to send back because my 3 daughters love this brand. We already have 3 other stepping stones. Fun to paint and is doing well holding up to the elements outside.

I bought a gift for my daughter, she is 8 years old, she loves to draw, it was so awesome that I could not resist and helped her to decorate the turtle. Then they bought the second as a gift for my niece, she was also happy with this gift !!! I recommend !!

Out of two boxes there was a total of four colors out of 24 between the two that were not entirely dried out. Kids were disappointed upon opening. Luckily we had extra paint from other projects, but it defeated the idea of the kids working on it themselves with their own personal paint pods. Do not recommend.

Found out Target has these for half the price. Kids love this and it's easy to use.

My 9 year old granddaughter loved it. She likes crafts and painting. It was challenging enough to be fun and she could put her own flair on the style. It takes several sessions to complete, which is a bonus.
