Good replacement for stock cpu fan
Original fan(msi gs63vr 6rf) started making unbearably loud scratching noises. Replacement works perfect and for anyone looking to swap out the cpu fan there are easy to follow YouTube videos available

Amazing! Seemingly BETTER than Factory Replacement Fan for MSI-GS63VR and similar! LOOK NO FURTHER!
Got this fan installed yesterday! Upon close inspection I noticed that the blades of the fan were a TINY bit thicker - which matters a LOT as these fans are razor thin! I estimate these to be .1 to .2mm longer in the blades than stock than the last set I had - which means more airflow! And it only gets better! Not ONLY do these fans (both CPU and GPU as sold by Quetterlee) go FAST! My CPU fan maxes out around 5900 RPM - which is EXACTLY what they should do - and the GPU fans max out around 5200 RPM - which is also - what the stock fans do! But then I noticed, these fans are QUIETER AS WELL! My last set at max speed made an almost ear piercingly loud whistle - these are FAR quieter at any given RPM - Max is basically as loud as my last set at ~75%! And there is NO LOUD WHISTLING! By far the best replacements I have found anywhere, and these are DEFINITELY the best quality I have seen! I will be dilligently cleaning my laptop out as usual, and I will let you guys know if I have ANY sort of issue down the road. If they die on me 3+ years down the track - I will still say that is a decent product, but I am hoping for longer with compressed air and small picks to stop the fans from spinning (if you blast air and spin fans too fast you can break them) - I will revisit and revise my review as needed, but I doubt highly I will need to change anything said so far! I bought an entire set from another seller - and the CPU fan maxed out at a measly ~3800 RPM - the GPU at just ~3500 - this is NOT enough to cool a GS63VR 6RF while gaming! The last seller did, however care about my complaints and sent me a second set free of charge - and I WANTED to like them, but same issue... And I see that in a LOT of other brand's reviews for these fans!

Died within 8 months
Replacement fan purchased to replace original fan that latest years before becoming loud even after cleaning. Picked up from Amazon on Nov. 11, 2019 and installed with no issues. Fan was silent and kept the CPU nice and cool. Started my machine up today (Aug. 20, 2020) and the fan was extremely loud, more than what it replaced. After a few minutes the fan just stopped and the CPU is getting toasty. Back to find another manufacturer that will last longer than 3 quarters of the year.

Good customer service.
Replaced a failed CPU fan in my MSI GS75 with this product. Installation was fairly straightforward, but the fan started rattling after a week or so. The seller promptly sent a replacement, but that has now started to rattle as well. Installed an OEM replacement fan and that is also starting to rattle again. There is something very odd about my laptop...

Works for MSI GS73 Stealth 8RF
Works for MSI GS73 Stealth 8RF. As others have mentioned, might as well change GPU fan while you are at it. Recommend going a little further and cleaning and changing the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. For MSI GS73 Stealth 8RF, this product comes with small plastic protrusions that are not present in the original fan that may interfere with installation. Just remove them, they have no function.

The description is kind of misleading...
So...I got the CPU fan and I was so close to get it install, but for some reason it didn't fit. In the image that has the red fan (That's the one I got), it's got those two pinpoints that stick out from the back of the fan. I don't know why they made it that way, but those points won't fit to the slot it need to be in because my laptop design slot have these metal vents that are in the way. If you look at the black fan image that's faces back, it doesn't have those pinpoints sticking out. It can fit right in with my laptop like the old CPU fan I have right now (And my old CPU fan is black too). I read the description carefully and it does say that both red and black are common and will be sent in either colors. I thought both of them didn't matter as long as both suppose to have same designs. But I guess not...? It's just one minor difference between the red and black CPU fans: The red one has two pinpoints in the back while the black one doesn't. So to anyone here who plan to order this, if you have a laptop like GS63 VR and you plan to replace it, DOUBLE CHECK your CPU fan design before you order. You never know if your CPU fan may have a slight difference regardless of the colors. For now I'm leaving this review until I get the correct CPU fan design.

May/May Not Work - Buyer Beware
Got this GPU fan as well as the CPU fan because the ones in my MSI GS63VR stopped working in April. At first, it seemed like they were good replacements, both fans were spinning and had no noise. By the end of May/beginning of June, the GPU fan started making noise, then later that day stopped working altogether. Opened the laptop back up to clean it, maybe some dust or hair was keeping it from spinning? Nope, nothing caught in the bearings. Closed it up, powered her on and still nothing. Was out of the 30 day return policy, so after much back and forth with amazon and seller, finally got a replacement sent out. Except this new one is DOA, replaced the fans and nothing. Fans wouldn't power up even when loading games or editing software. The CPU fan I ordered still spun, but much slower than when first installing, and my CPU was hitting 80 degrees at idle. Before I started to really worry that it might be something more serious, I decided to buy a new set of GPU and CPU fans from someone of Ebay. Even though the CPU fan currently worked, I decided to swap them both out. Lo and behold, my fans are both spinning, faster and quieter than ever at about 50-60 degrees at idle. Save yourself some time, money, and effort and order the fans off ebay. 2 stars for sending me a replacement outside of return, though it didn't work.
