Treat hugger that's easy to get the treats out of
This product is well made and it's good for what it is. It's cute and gentle on your dog's face. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit for the reasons I purchased it. Because of how soft this is and because of how stretchy it is, it's far too easy for my dog to get the treat out of it. So much so that I wouldn't even consider it a way to hide treats or to keep my dog busy.

One of the finest toys I know to help a non toy motivated dog
I teach agility and like to use toys thrown out as motivators. I encourage all of my students who have only food motivated dogs to get this toy and transition their dog into using it. We have seen so much success using this toy. I usually buy several at a time to have on hand to provide at cost to my students.

My dog has maintained interest in this puzzle/toy
My dog really likes this. Gets happy and excited when I chuck him his loaded treat hugger. He is pretty smart, so it does not take terribly long anymore for him to extract the treat, but still, it has been a toy with staying power. My dog is a 100 pound Mastiff cross and yes, he (as ropped off some of the fringe. But it still works and we still like it.

enthusiasm and joy are infectious
One of our dogs has shown no interest in toys until this one. No tug toy, no lotus ball, no stuffed animal. She is highly food motivated, but we still struggled with drive and consistency of enthusiasm when playing agility. No longer. She loves this toy. I mean seriously loves this toy. Her drive, enthusiasm and joy are infectious. I don't know why she loves it so much. But she does. So if you are looking for a training toy for a dog that is food motivated but not toy motivated, this could be your answer.

Larger than I pictured!
This was for my 12 week old puppy, a toy poodle. Much too large for its intended purpose. But, what I discovered is that I can wedge a chew stick in it and he can put his front paws around the Hugger and chew his stick very comfortably. I'm sure he'll grow into it, it's really a clever idea and well made.

Great for training distance
Works great for training agility training. I have a high treat motivated, but low toy drive dog. The treats stay in the toy, and very easy for my dog to get after I throw the toy.

Fun, quiet, washable
My puppy loves this! Do many treat dispensers are too noisy to use in the office or meetings. This one is quiet. I do take it away when the treats are gone to keep him from chewing on it. So far it had held up great but I watch my aggressive chewer with anything fabric.

Does what it should
Works ok for its purpose. If not removed from the dog right away, its easily unstuffed.
