excellent for cracked peeling lips
Savex medicated lip balm is the only kind of lip balm that helps with my chapped and peeling lips. It contains salicylic acid to exfoliate gradually. And it does not have that strong nasty chemical taste of those various oxy-ies that are used for sunscreen in most lip balms these days. The Menthol flavor is barely noticeable. Although it does contain wax it is such a smooth and soft consistency that I usually have to rub my lips together to be sure that there is still any on. It does not feel thick and globby. It is very reasonably priced and I love buying an entire case at a time so I can leave a stick in my car and by my bed and each chair in the TV room and each purse that I carry around, as well as in my pocket.

Wonderful chapstick
I have a hard time with chapsticks... This is the only brand that does not cause me a breakout/rash on and around my lips!!! I bought this big box to have them available. They are hard to find in stores. I keep them in the refrigerator until I need a new one.

Loyal 20+ year Savex user here!
We have been daily Savex users for over 20 years. We have both the pots & sticks on hand all over our house, in the car & in my purse, husband's computer bag & kid's backpacks. There is a slight textural difference between the pots & the sticks. The sticks have a slightly thicker texture more like a chapstick & the pots are slicker. We like both. Despite trying tons of other balms, sticks & glosses over the years, we always come back to Savex because it is the best for moisture & lip conditioning. It is truly our favorite lup product of all! Although we use the product as consumers, this came with a nice retail type box that could sit on a store counter in a retail store.

Great lip balm
I periodically get a crack on the corner of my mouth and this is the only lip balm that does it any good within a day or two

Glad that you can still purchase the original. Much better than the medicated. Been using this for 15 years. Works great on my sensitive lips. Only brand I use.
