The onion books are always funny. Even though there is a free Onion website it is great to have the collection of The Onion stories in book form. This collection is laugh out loud funny. This is a great gift for a college student or anyone with a sarcastic sense of humor. This collection's stories all revolve around Christmas so I thought it might be limiting but it wasn't. Great book!

Even though I bought this for my soon-to-be- hubby, I ended up reading a good chunk of it. We spent several hours laughing at the satirical stories - until we had tears running down our face. I enjoyed the book - and the memories it gave us. We are both longtime fans of the Onion, and having it in print made it that much better.

The book is a collection of Onion articles about the Christmas season which are kind of hit or miss. I liked their Atlas much more.

purchased as a gift. Recipient said they loved it. Warning: more colorful language than I expected, but I can't say I'm surprised...I mean, it IS "The Onion"...

Really a peffect Christmas gift for the sarcastic or cynical people in your life. Funny and well done as are all the Onions books.

The Onion books usually make me laugh out loud... But it seems as though the Onion was digging in the bottom of their proverbial barrel to find a Christmas themed collection of stories. I should have save my money and bought one of the more expensive "best of" collections. Disappointed.

It's The Onion! Greatest Hits, as it were. All things Onion are great. I just wish I'd gotten it in hardback so it would last through the multiple readings it will get. Funny shtuff!

I love the Onion and it's zany , crazy stories. the Christmas collection does not disappoint and is a great addition to the stocking of your warped humour lovers

You'll probably either love or hate this sort of humour. Like 'The Simpson's', 'Cheers' and 'Friends', American humour doesn't travel for everyone. Some of the stories are pure madness. Nothing similar here apart from Private Eye, which is its closest surviving relative. In the right mood this material never fails.

Perfect reading material to get you in the holiday spirit.
