Annoying magnets
Warmish, nice grippy feel to the palm and fingertips, quite pricey, but good for the design for use as photographers gloves. Downside the back of the finger and thumb tips are magnetic and when searching for items in your pockets keys and the like get dragged out unknowingly annoying so, ok yes ideally take the glove off you say. a bit on the small side for me, didn't quite fit snugly enough for me so I gave them to my wife as she has smaller hands and also a bit of a photographer too.

Great gloves but could be better
Overall decent gloves but my fingertips still got cold even when covered, and the material is so rough on the back it hurts to wipe or scratch your face. They feel pretty sturdy and heavy duty tho, so they should last a long time hopefully

So my experience with this which my review is based on is not as extensive as I would like. I felt alright when handling the rif
I bought this pair of gloves for the field, I needed my index finger free to pull the trigger but the rest of the hand covered and protected. It is unfortunate that they were lost right after the first time I bought them to the field. So my experience with this which my review is based on is not as extensive as I would like. I felt alright when handling the rifle with this pair of gloves, my control of the rifle was only slightly hindered, much better than wearing the issued ones, and the trigger feel was great. And by the end of that training exercise (lasted a night and a day), the gloves were still relatively dry, considering it was raining all day, so thats good. And my hands were generally warm during the exercise. But they offered little protection, when I came back from the field, I was wearing the gloves most of the time, my hands was COVERED with starches and scars, I believe there are two reasons, one reason being the gloves were not tight enough, a lot of little rocks and twigs managed to get inside my gloves and wreaked havoc. The other reason was that the sharp end of rocks (and grass?) managed to pieced through the gloves (but not straight cut it open) and cut my hands I would recommend these gloves to outdoor workers and hikers but not for my line of work, they are good, but far too pricey for the quality they offer

Total rubbish - AVOID
The parts that open do not fully close so pretty bad in cold weather. Also, the thumbs are almost the same length as the fingers - so there's far too much room on the thumbs. Probably cost £1 to make in China. If they were charging £5 it would be acceptable. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. Really a rip off.

Love these, fit well are comfortable and warm
Love these, fit well are comfortable and warm. Much thinner than expected which was a bonus and does not affect warmth/protection. Worn to go ice skating and on the journey there and back through heavy rain. Got wet n the outside but I didnt feel it leak through so confident that they will be more than adequate on some of the proposed photography trips planned during January in the U.K. and February in Finland. Will update once tested in the -16 temperatures expected in Finland

Only useful for moderate cold.
I've used these gloves pretty much the whole winter and when temperatures drop below let's say 5 degrees Celsius you find yourself having trouble keeping your hands warm more and more the further the temperature drops. This is of course a little dependent on how active you are. I've used these gloves more as working gloves which meant that the grip patches are already wearing off and stopping being useful. The other functionalities like fending off rain, when not touching too many wet surfaces, and the finger tips work great. The gloves are not fully waterproof, but the fabric ontop works pretty well to keep the rain off. The finger tips work as intended, but don't expect the gloves to keep your hands warm the closer you get to freezing temperatures. And the grip pads wear off a little too easily. Nevertheless they helped me a fair bit battling the local cold and wet weather conditions while still being able to do things outdoors.

Great for photography
Love these gloves. Nice and thin to let you handle the camera The pull back thumb and finger allow you to keep your hands warm while out on a shoot Grippy so you don't drop your camera
