Direct Drive 310 MHz Wireless Keypad
Installation instructions unclear, went on YouTube and found video -- made installation a piece of cake. Otherwise, works as expected, a must have on any garage. Makes it so much easier to open and close the garage when were out in the yard.

Easy.... Once I Actually Read The Directions
Bought the Sommer Opener and could not get my old keypad to sync. Bought this replacement and had nothing but trouble; until I took the time to read the instructions.Quick, Easy, Works; When done by the numbers. (I can't knock off a star for my own self-inflicted issue).The slide is stiff, FYI.

I bought this unit to work with my new Sommer 1052V000 garage door opener. Advice to other customers... Read ALL of the directions first!!! This unit comes "locked" from the factory, and only explains about half way through how to unlock it. Using the factory default code it synched with my opener flawlessly. Even with the instructions, programming your own code is a little tricky! I don't know if I was going too slow or too fast, but it took several tries to get my own code programmed in. Once it was synched, and I finally got my code in, the wireless remote works great! Mounting it outside my door was easy too using the provided hardware.

Good Sommer keypad
Works well with my SOMMER direct drive garage door opener, make sure to read instructions on how to unlock, I thought it needed batteries.

A must for any SOMMER garage door opener
Directions are no good. Had to contact SOMMER directly by phone, talked us through the programming process. Works perfectly with 1.0HP SOMMER opener. No lag time here as other reviews indicate. Tip....when you remove the sticker which has the secret number on it to clear and reset the unit, place it on the back of the housing that screws into the wall! This way you know where it is and accessible if and when you may need it!

Does not power on. Keypad does not light up for programing.

Well Designed Key Pad
Appears to be a well-built device that should withstand years of outdoor exposure. It is very easy to install and to connect to the receiver built into the garage door opener. Keyboard lighting makes it easy to use in the dark. Overall, a well made device that is complementary with the Direct Drive garage door opener, which is the best unit of its type I have owned.
