Some extra models in the pictures but just to show how easy it is to do. It took about a month to paint it all up. I enjoyed doing it a lot, rules are easy and a great thing to start. Excellent value for money considering one regiment of line infantry is normally £20.

I have little intention of playing Black Powder, but the models are great for padding out my 28mm Napoleonic armies.The miniatures themselves are repetitive, but for the asking price, they are great value. The addition of cavalry, commanders for each force and a cannon are fantastic.Good value for money if you just want the minis. If you want to play Black Powder too, you can't beat it!

As a starter set for Napoleonic war gaming this is excellent value. It’s also a good way to bulk out your mini collection if you are already an experienced gamer.

It is a great box for its value. The book is great for traveling to play games and the models are very nice. It is a good box for those interested in trying the Black Powder rules.

A great starter set that includes almost everything you need to start war gaming. While a faction leader is included it would have been more appropriate to include a command group rather than one individual mini. Complete and quick start rule sets are provided. The full set is a richly illustrated mini book that will also help you get started painting your troops by providing some inspirational finished examples. Lots of minis, rule books, and dice for a great price. While modelling experience is not really required, you will need some familiarity with model glue for the plastic minis and CA for the white metal ones.

This kit can really get you started. Great quality.
