Wu Yang Brand Pain Relieving Medicated Plaster (3.9 in x 78.7 in) (1 Can) (Solstice)

I DO NOT really know how to grade this medicated plaster because I believe the one that is sold in USA is a new formula with Camphor 3% and Menthol 5% that was distributed by the Solstice Medicine Company at Los Angeles, California. Therefore my 1 star rating is for this new formula. (4 stars for the original Chinese formula). Many other Chinese medicated plasters such as the renowned 701 Dieda Zhentong Gao pain-easing plaster also went that route, being changed to new and basically useless formula. Basically, many medical plasters for arthritis pain or relieving pain are now made of three main ingredient: camphor, menthol and methyl salicylate. They only provide temporary relief and IMHO do not justify their exorbitant high prices. Interesting, I ordered one can of this forgetting about this change and actually received one can of this in old formual that was made by Guangzhou Medicines and Health Products in China. I almost used all of them. The old formula is much better because it was made of 11 Chinese herbs that work much better and provide longer relief than this new formula. You may be lucky enough to get one with old formula from one of Amazon's market vendors (especially it they are located in China or Hong Kong) but that is no guarantee. Your other best bet is to find them in eBay. I actually believe the 701 (see above) that was made by Guangzhou Baiyuanshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Co in China is a much better and economical product because it is a much bigger roll at similar price and made with Chinese herbs (again ones sold in USA is in new formula). Better yet if you go to the TSEMPORIUM site, there are tons of medical plasters that actually work much better in relieving arthritis pain and muscle pain, just make sure they were made with Chinese herbs and not with those three ingredients mentioned here - camphor, menthol and Methyl salicylate (a few with exceeding high % of these 3 ingredients may provide with better reliefs but you would be at your own risk using them, be warned) My wife has very sensitive skin and she always had allergic reactions to these Chinese medical plasters made with Chinese herbs. Therefore, you should never leave them on you skins for more than 8 hours and should always check with medical professionals before using any of them. I’m not sure what’s in it but it’s awesome and works

I have used this product in the past and NOTHING has worked as well as this for muscle strains and pain. But for some reason the most recent canister I ordered doesn't adhere to my skin. I have to tape it on and it's supposed to be self-adhering. But if you can get it to stick it's like no other and trust me as a life-long dancer/teacher I have tried everything

Hate it. Allergic to it & it doesn’t work! Not what I wanted. When did this product gain the popularity it has? What happened to the previous product that was a dark brown wrap that came in a metal tube? This product SUCKS!!

This is amazing! Long after the patch is applied I can still feel the effects. As a licensed massage therapist it makes a great parting gift for clients and the relief of achy sore spots after their treatment. I have shoulder pain and cutting a section and applying to the area helps me sleep better and relieves pain during my workday.

I like the way it adheres to my skin yet have not used it long enough to comment on how well it works.
