Great pan and tilt robot head. A bit of a battery pig but that's to be expected. I dumped the software that comes with it and went with another hi end brand from Germany. Will post name later as I'm AFK.

That didn't sound good for long term support so I returned the item ...
I initially wanted the Epic Pro to use with my Canon 5D Mark II, but could not locate one so I ordered this one to use with my Canon G1X. When it arrived I tried to set it up and my that my G1X would not line up as the instructions stated, even though it was listed as a compatible camera for this unit. I tried to contact the company and none of my calls/emails were answered. I found the company was in financial trouble and may have sound off their hardware division. That didn't sound good for long term support so I returned the item unused. I finally bought an Acratech pan head that is manual, but works wonderfully.

Company seems closed for business.
The product is okay, but the company (Gigapan) seems to be closed for business as their support site doesn't allow any new registrations of units, so you don't have access to promised software.
