Gatsby Moon Oakleaf Hydrangea (Quercifolia) Live Shrub, White to Green Flowers, 1 Gallon

Overall, I'm very pleased with the way this was shipped. It came sooner than stated and was packaged well.A few leafs were scorched, some were bent and the soil was pretty dry.It's a birthday present for my son and his fiancé (their birthdays are 5 days apart).I went over to their house and helped plant it.

This is the third hydrangea that I ordered this year from Amazon and I can’t get over how great they have all been. The plant shipped on Monday and arrived on Wednesday. Arrived in perfect condition and looked a lot nicer than the ones at my local nursery.

Arrived safely and is already growing in my garden. Price was right!

The plant is beautiful and it came wrapped and then inside a cardboard box. I have always wanted to grow a hydrangea in my yard and hopefully this one will be a success. It was very dry when it arrived so I soaked it in water for a few hours and then let it set inside my garage for 2 days. I potted it on day 3 and started letting it get a little scattered sunlight. The service they used for shipping must have treated it very roughly because one side of the box was caved in and broken open when it arrived on my doorstep. One of the branches were broken off also. This was disappointing but otherwise the plant looked good after a good soak. I am going to try to root the stem that broke and maybe, if successful, have another hydrangea.

....they arrived in excellent condition; larger than I expected. I purchased four and hope to purchase a fifth as soon as possible. I anxiously await a restock!

Purchased this in Mid December. I live in zone 7B so they can be planted in containers kept outside for the winter. They are hardy down to zone 5. The key is if your planning on potting a shrub make sure that are at least two zones lower then where you live. I’m hoping in Spring they will bloom out beautifully. I have several hydrangeas in my garden but never grew a oak leaf variety. I’m very excited to see how this turns out. The one gallon was quite small. I’m not disappointed since these shrubs grew quickly. Hydrangeas are the most hardest flowering plants I know. Love them.

Smaller than anticipated. Packaged well. Planted and watered 4 the same way, but one died pretty quickly.

I bought two of this type of hydrangeas, but sadly one of the hydrangeas came with most of the leaves were broken inside the box that came with. I got these hydrangeas for my wife birthday.
