Voice Caddie G2_Watch G2 Hybrid Golf GPS Watch with Slope, 2X

I liked the product but was turned off by the auto advance to next hole.I started at the back nine and when I came to the front nine it took a while to determine the hole number and this occured in two holes. I had to manually advance to the next hole. There were also two holes it was unable to provide the correct yardage because it was still on the previous hole and I failed to realize it at that time. Not sure why it worked in the back nine and had problems in the front nine.

I was hoping that this watch would replace my Garmin S20 but it simply falls short on too many fronts. First the positive. It does adjust for slope automatically. It is fairly accurate comparing it to scope readings. It is a setting. You can't toggle back and forth from slope adjusted to unadjusted. It does give the three yardage readings for Front, Middle and Back.The Cons are:1) It is big and heavy. Surprisingly, I was able to adjust to the weight but I think it is uncomfortable compared to my Garmin watch.2) There is no advance or back up function for holes. When you start up the watch, it tells you to go to the first hole. It does find the satellite quickly but will not give you yardage until you go to the tee. I have had times where it won't advance to the next hole even though I was on the tee. Since there is no manual adjust feature, I couldn't get a reading for that hole. To be fair, it does advance most of the time.3) You can't toggle to the time or any other setting unless you sign out of the yardage feature. To get the time, you have to exit yardage. If you do during play, you have to go back to the menu and choose the golf option. It can take a while to regain the satellite. It is just cumbersome to get the time. My Garmin will go to time with the back key and they go right back to yardage when you hit the back key again.The battery life is OK but I would charge between rounds.The walk/run feature works well in measuring how far you run or walk. It will give you pace and time elapsed which I liked. There is however no memory so you can't keep track of previous sessions. Still, it does measure distance accurately.The slope feature is really what I was looking for in this watch and it does seem to work well. You only have the two settings for with slope and without which must be selected in the settings mode. The tournament option will remove the slope adjustment. It is better than my Garmin in the slope adjustment and the ability to track walk/run distance (the Garmin does track steps). I just find the cons offset the pros.Overall, the watch does read yardage fairly accurately. The price is not bad but it just doesn't do enough for me to counter the issues.

I use this just for golf and I have no complaints. Very accurate, not too large, easy enough to read. I would recommend turning on golf mode once you are in the parking lot. Once it has you "locked" in it does a great job. Even in a shotgun start it is able to distinguish what hole you are on.

The watch was great until it wasn't. After about 25 rounds the On button did not turn the watch on. Instead, the Menu button did. Once it was on, the screen goes blank if you press the Menu button to see the Menu. If you press the On button, the light will come on. In order to turn it off, you must press the Menu button to show the Time, then hold in the On button. Amazon has sent a message to the Seller, but I have not received any response. I guess things suck for me. I will not purchase another one.Latest Status: Was told to reach out to Voice Caddie. They guided me through a reset procedure and also sent instructions on how to update the watch using support on their website. Neither was successful. I am not happy. Was asked to send purchase information and serial number to them to start the warranty review. No promises were made. Once again, I am not happy.

Product works great. Connects quickly. Very accurate. A little bulky so be fair warned but nothing that really matters. Would buy again

My mistake, I guess, was looking for a voice activated gps. Nope, not this one.

Cannot get the manufacturer to respond to my request for help. I’m very dissatisfied that for $200 we are left high and dry and no one will respond or even tell me if we have a manufacturer warranty. Certainly it should work longer than 6 months!!

This watch has been amazing so far. I had some difficulty getting the web site to perform, but the watch itself worked like a charm. It found my course and had me on the correct tee box during a shotgun start. I used it on a different course the next day and had no problems; I was on a 27 hole course and it followed me on the correct 18 holes that I played. I have no complaints and recommend it to others.

Very impressed with the easy operation, very accurate and overall, I’m happy.

This watch is faulty. I need to return it and I’m getting no reply. Don’t buy one of these.
