these bands seem to be the perfect size to launch 1/4 steel ammo. the pouch is tiny but has a center hole punched in it to seat the ammo, i use my index finger to seat the ball and pull until i get a slight tension and then pinch with index and thumb. the stretch is consistent and is what you expect from a latex band useing cheek aim. these will be too short for a butterfly style release. i like these enough that I made 3 slings right away. no sure if these are theraband gold but they are close to it. Might work for 3/8 steel too if you are careful. i dont have any lead shot to try these may work for that too. good for the price too.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Im actually quite impressed. These bands are fast, and snappy. No problem putting clay balls down range and even putting holes in an empty 5 gallon mayo tub. I will purchase these again once I use all these.

THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR KIDS, NO POWER AT ALL AND THE BANDS WON'T LAST. IN OTHER WORDS THEY DO NOT FUNCTION WELL. IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY. THE FIT IS THERE, AND THEY ARE EASY TO USE, BUT EXTREMELY EASY AND THAT IS SOMETHING YOU DO NOT WANT FOR HUNTING OR SURVIVAL. I THOUGHT ABOUT CUTTING THEM SO THAT I CAN GET THE PROPER ELASTICITY AND TENSION, BUT IT IS RIDICULOUS THE AMOUNT OF RUBBER I WOULD NEED TO CUT. BOTTOM LINE, BUY IT FOR A KID THAT IS INITIALLY LEARNING, BUT NOT FOR AN ADULT. UPDATE: I WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE A MICROMETER CALIPER AND THESE BANDS ARE 0.45 AND NOT 0.75 AS ADVERTISED

These are very cheaply made, but I guess you get what you pay for. The pocket is minuscule. I expect these to break quickly.

Easy draw for beginners. Use thicker bands if you need anything heavier draw for your slingshot

I shoot 3/8 steel and 00 buck lead and these bands are the perfect size for the ammo. No band slap and the right amount of draw weight that gives you a fast shot but not effect accuracy. Will definitely buy again.

Very Nice Bands ! Note: these ain’t yer grandpaws rock chucking slingshot bands. Yes the pouches are very small. They are designed for accurate target 🎯 shooting with ball bearings like 1/4” 3/8”. Also modern slingshot bands need to be TUNED to the shooters draw length. YouTube has hundreds of videos on slingshots and bands. I’ve been shooting slingshots for years and see no issues with these bands. Their longevity depends on user’s knowledge, but they will not last as long as rock chucking wrist rocket tubes. UPDATE I have reordered these bands twice more after this review. The latex itself is ok but the pouches are different from first order and are disintegrating 🤷‍♂️. So if you order these bands and have similar results to mine, you will have a 33 1/3 percent chance of receiving decent quality product. And 66 2/3 percent chance of receiving trash.

The product was good, exactly as expected. Everything else? Rubbish! it took nearly 2 weeks from "order processed" not ("order placed" ), for the item to be shipped, then from China 20/12/20, to Birmingham AL, US, to Atlanta GA, US, to Cincinnati OH, US, to Leipzig XX, DE, to Amsterdam XX NL, to Australia and delivered finally to Perth Western Australia. ???? Bunny hopped around the world with natural disasters and weather blamed numerous times along the way. My experience with Amazon is becoming a joke that is so far from funny, it just isn't anymore!!! Lift your game you buck passing, inadequate spastics!
