Katamari Damacy Reroll - Nintendo Switch

Despite being a fun and incredibly silly game, Katamari Damacy has always been a hard sell. I tried to get my son into this, but he hated the controls. I showed my wife and she thought that it was the dumbest “thing” she’s ever seen (the Untitled Goose Game being second). Everyone who doesn’t already love this game, hates it.I have always loved this game, and can say (that as a fan) this is an excellent remaster. The wonky controls are still there, but the graphics and cutscenes have been updated. The premise isn’t “dumber” than most video game plots, and there is something legitimately entertaining to this very day about the way living creatures react to being rolled into a massive ball that makes me laugh every single time it happens. It’s a fun game with great music.

I loved this game twenty years ago, and it is just as good now! Fun, irreverent, psychedelic just as I remember it. My husband came in while I was playing and he felt like he stepped back in time. It is a short game that isn't too hard to beat. The challenge comes with completing collections. New cut scenes are seamless. It all seems as I remember it and I can't tell what is new. If you are thinking of trying this for the first time, I find the game addictive and hum the music when I am not playing. I hope this Switch version finds a whole new generation of gamers!

bought it for my niece. she said it was "weird" and "confusing." she is 9. so take that with a grain of salt. i, however, love this game and own it on steam. i genuinely would buy it again for switch. obSESSED with that little green battery man. soundtrack slaps too

Great game!! I don’t game often, but my younger brother does. We both love it a lot! It has really cute and unique visuals, with an addicting and satisfying gameplay style. You can play for a few minutes or hours on end. The cherry on top is the phenomenal soundtrack. Highly recommend for both casual and hardcore gamers :)

This game is so fun I had it back in the day and was so excited when it came back out. Very easy to play my girls 4 and 6 love playing it you just roll around and collect items the more you roll up the bigger the iteams you can collect. There are some missions you have to complete but is a fun easy game for kids

One of my favorite games

If you're looking to buy this game you must have done some research or are interested to try it out. I owned the original PS2 game when it came out and it was a delightful game to play. In today's market it looks like nothing more than another indie game with a good gamplay and simple but effective graphics, but the reallity is that this title was made by a major studio and it deserves all the praises it gets for trying something new

There is only a handful of levels to play. And I feel like they intentionally made the last level extremely hard just to drag out the amount of play time you could have, without having to actually add anymore levels. I spent more time on the last level then I did the rest of the game. All in all I played it very sparingly over a 3 day period before I beat it. It was disappointing.
