I keep this one in my rotation of chemicals o dose my aquatic plants with. My plants look great.

This includes nitrates and urea, so I think it will help the nitrogen cycle along as the urea breaks down while also providing the final nitrate product to help keep your aquarium plants alive.I'm trying to keep my old cycle going in a new/upsized 29g tank but currently all I have in it is some nerite snails and a ton of aquarium plants (and hungry emersed houseplants, basil, etc), so I need to add a lot of nutrients to the water AND maintain the cycle until I am happy enough with my tank's maturity to get some fish.Generally I add aquarium ammonia and a little bit of fish food to keep the cycle going, and also feed the plants with Aquarium Coop Easy Green and occasionally some micronutrient Seachem Flourish. The tank is so heavily planted, especially with the emersed plants and the Salvinia, that I struggle to keep the nitrates high enough to feed everything.This Seachem Flourish Nitrogen stuff allows me to directly feed the plants a little more efficiently without overloading the tank with micronutrients. I just repeatedly added a half cap and checked the nitrates an hour or two later until I got it at the level I wanted. Eventually I will figure out a good schedule, which will of course completely change once the tank is stocked, but regardless, this product is a useful tool for planted tanks.

Makes plants grow fast. But monitor your nitrate level. Too much can be bad for your fish.

Great product, exactly what is should be and says it is. Perfect for fine tuning nutrients depending on plant and fish level.Unless you test water parameters or are heavily planted, do not use. Use a all-in-one for casual users, Seachem flourish is great.Started to use individual nutrient dosing after battling with green water blooms, much more effective than all-in-ones ferts.

It's only been a couple of weeks so far, but I could see a considerable difference.

This product does provide nitrogen to the aquarium but be aware it's not super potent: It's 1% Nitrogen - 0% Phosphorous - 2% Potassium. The actual chemical content of this is potassium nitrate and iminium salt (urea). I'm of the plant keeping school that says: "test your water then add back the deficient nutrients" as opposed to the "estimative index school" (but that's a debate for another forum). To hit 10ppm of nitrogen in a 55 gallon aquarium you need about 10.4ml of this product. I'd suggest you look into using dry chemical potassium nitrate. It really is cheaper, easier to work with, and does the same thing (without the name brand label & price)I bought this, but "blew right though it" in no time because of the low concentration. I say 4 stars out of 5 because it is pretty expensive for how little nutrient you're getting.

this contains potassium nitrate as a form of nitrogen there is more then one king of nitrogen in this , the potassium in this is essential for healthy plants and this product contains potassium and nitrogen to help your plants grow it does not have phosphorus which is a good thing phosphorus cuases algea and there is more then enough in a fish food this is really all you need to grow a basuc okanted tank , Also this stuff is very strong super concentrated so use only what it says if you have a 10 gallon this hsould last you more thne a year the ingredients in this are made for fish tanks this is good quality
