what is the height from the floor to the bottom of the drawers? How much height space do I have below the drawers?

It’s 6 inches between the floor and the base of the drawers. Just enough room for shoes underneath.

does it have an enclosed fabric bottom?

Yes the top and bottom have fabric/ it’s really sturdy. I added three baskets to the top and it hold fine

Could I order the plastic parts hook/joints if it breaks?

If you've already bought this, i dont know the answer. You've noted the problem though, so dont buy this if you are still shopping. Those connectors WILL BREAK
