Magnetic Touch Push Open Latch (2, Black)

I installed these on an 18 x 30" door which we installed on the wall as a hatchway into our attic. They were exactly as described, and work perfectly. The magnets hold the door closed, and a slight push inwards pops the door open. Well worth the money.

Replaced a broken magnet catch on a vanity mirror. Easy to do and worked like a charm.

Let me start by sayings these are probably fine magnetic latches. Out of the packaging they seem to work fine, they push in and out and stay in like they're supposed to.My problem is the do not act well as replacements for the KraftMaid latches in my medicine cabinet. The KraftMaid magnetic latches are taller and have a longer stroke than these. I wound up having to order expensive replacement parts from KraftMaid along with costly shipping. If you have KraftMaid, these will likely not be a good replacement. If you are building cabinets these will likely be good latches to use.I do plan on holding on to the ones I purchased for use in a planned cabinet project.

I looked in all the big box stores in my city and none of them had the right replacement, until I checked Amazon. Of course I found the Exact piece! Great quality and exact replacement! It’s a 2 pack so I have another one if the other side of the cabinet needs replacing.

I was able to repair a broken magnet closure on an old Allen & Roth medicine cabinet from Lowe's using this product. I only had to remove and replace the part with the broken magnet. I was able to use the existing screw holes, which was great. Came in a 2-pack and since this is made from plastic, I'm sure I'll need the 2nd one in a few years.
