Fun Stuff Cookbook M&M's

This book was much nicer and better than I was expecting, so I am extremely happy with it. I plan to copy some of the recipes, then give the book to my daughter for Christmas. She and her husband both have first names beginning with M, and we kid them about being the "M&M's," so the book will be a perfect gift.Highly recommend this book.

This book covers all of the major American food groups, with separate chapters on cookies, bars, cakes, frozen treats, desserts, and of course, snacks. But where, I wonder, are the recipes for my children's favorites: M&M and arugula salad, M&M Lasagna, M&M encrusted lake trout, and Ethiopian peanut M&M soup? Sadly, not here.

It's more of a book of creative ideas than a real cookbook although it does offer recipes. The recipes themselves I found to be the basic stuff most bakers already make. It's full of colorful pictures, which should attract a youngster's interest in learning more.

This is a fun cookbook. My 8 year old son saw it at a book fair at his school. We found it much cheaper through Amazon and he just loves helping us cook from this book.

Great book at a great price. Book is hardcover and has lots of pictures. Desserts seem fairly easy to prepare.
