What is the 'rise' of each step? I can't find specs for this.

Will this step fit 2017 Columbus 5 th wheel

All RV steps are based on exact measurements of your specific RV. Width and mounting locations are critical to installing any steps. If you do not match the mounting locations, you will have to perform some modifications to your RV frame to install the new ones. Measure carefully before purchasing.

I have a 2015 Grand Design Solitude 5th wheel. will this step fit as original equipment?

Our 2020 grand design measures 27 1/2 and this was 28 inches wide so we had to send back

The original steps are 27 1/2”. Will this item fit my opening? 5th wheel is a forest river Columbus by palomino.

No. It says 27-1/2 but really needs 28. Mine was 27-1/2 and it fit but not great. Mounting brackets on rv are definitely spread out to make fit.
