For $44 this radar detector is comparable to the $300 passport I used to have until someone stole it out of my car this little guy picks up cops from at least a mile away I was blown away at how cheap it was and how good it works

I’ve had this radar detector for about three months now so it’s out of the return warranty type thing so I’m driving down the road and all of a sudden I get a radar detection and it sounds like the speaker is blown. It’s all crackly you can’t understand it and that for me is just a no sell for the future.

Radar detector works well.

I’m still trying to figure out the features with this radar detector. It’s gone off when police officer’s are hiding and in plain sight. I need to figure out the vg2 and a few more things, but so far so good.

While it does detect when police are near by, it also detects anything that is a light source as a radar detection.Here's a list of lasers it detects:-Headlights in oncoming traffic? Laser-LED street lamp? Laser-Clear blue sky facing away from the sun? Laser-The sun? Laser-Overcast day? Laser-Brake lights? Laser-Glint of the sun on chrome pieces of the car in front of you? Laser-Clear sky with a single cloud? Laser-A white house during the day time? Laser-Your own headlights shining on a wall? Laser-You unlocking your phone or getting a message? LaserAnd if all that wasn't bad enough, the cable it comes with, that is NOT USB, is only about 3ft long and doesn't reach any vehicle outlets, so you need to splice some wire together and won't be able to return it.In conclusion, this thing is more annoying than it is helpful. It keeps tickets away, but at the cost of hearing "LASER BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP" every 30 seconds while driving, even at night.

I must be doing something wrong, the only voice alerts I get is when the system boots up and runs the self test. Otherwise just beeps when it picks up radars.
