This speaker is fantastic. Took a little time to learn how to work it, diections not that great. When you first set it up, it scans for radio stations. It picked up 5 that came in clear in my area. It was easy to pair with my phone. To test how waterproof it really is I dunked it in my swimming pool several times. Used it this weekend for a 5 hour float trip on the Potomac River where it was tossed around & submerged, it surfaced still sounding great. One charge lasts about 12 hours or so. This little speaker has exceeded my expectations for the price I paid.

These reviews are so difficult to navigate - there are fake ones, but also, the products will obviously vary if they're of poor quality. So some say it's decent, some say it's not and you take a chance.I'm not someone who needs perfect sound - I just needed a volume boost to my phone and a little sturdiness. So I was hoping an inexpensive speaker would do the trick. This speaker cuts out and makes scratching noises. If you're listening to a comedy track, you can't even understand what's being said. And it started happening a few weeks into use, just beyond the return window.Not sure about water resistance - I didn't challenge it that way. I was hoping it would be protected if it got splashed, but I can't say for sure.It's not poor quality sound, it's not-functional for its purpose. If you try it out, I'd use it a lot quickly to if you have a dud so you can still send it back.

I bought this to take out on my stand up paddle board. And hooks up to the Bluetooth easily and a speaker works great. Do not buy if you want the FM radio, it's all static and does not tune into any stations. It also needs better instructions on how to work it. If your looking for just a cheap water resistance Bluetooth speaker this will work but definitely not for radio

If you're buying this to use as a radio, DON'T!! Absolutely awful! The instructions do not explain well what you have to go through to find and then maintain a station. I've had similar bluetooth speaker/ radios that were similar format and were easy to use and worked just fine. What's particularly annoying with this model is once you find a station you like, if you turn the unit off, when you turn it back on, that station will no longer be there. You have to rescan and hope you can find that station once again. Sound quality wasn't as good compared to other bluetooth speakers I've had. Lots of vibration at higher volume, and flat, tinny sound at lower volumes. I did not want to waste my time and energy sending this product back and took great satisfaction throwing it in the trash.

First of all this speaker is NOT WATERPROOF! There is no mention of it on the packaging or on the ibstructions. All ports are open and no seals. The battery compartment comes off easily and is not sealed. I would not get this wet or worse take it in the pool. Also there is NO FM Receiver. Some answers to questions are wrong. This plays Bluetooth, micros card, USB stick and aux in.

Bought these for all my nieces and nephews and my daughter for Christmas. Very good quality, and loud. I wished I had bought more as these went over so well. Can’t beat the value for price on these!

Only thing is it’s not quick to pair, and no directions. Sound is great, and very loud. Battery seems to last for days.

We took it tubing and it didn't work afterwards.
