Great trainers, add loctite
Great looking trainers. Got one for me and my oldest son so I can teach him some tricks. These are trainers so don't expect a sharp blade. They are nice to handle. You need to flip them alot to break them in. Some screws will come loose. All I did to fix this is to add a little loctite on the screws, tighten them down enough so the knife is usable. Then wait until the loctite hardens. I recommend it for people hat want to learn to flip by don want to cut their fingers.

Nice Value!
I'm new to the hobby, so take my comments with a grain of salt. These things are at a great price and they're fairly sturdy constrution, but I managed to lose a screw on one of mine, and the other actually had a screw snap off. I recommend checking with a torx bit (T7 IIRC) to see if any of your screws are loose, and if they are, remove the loose screws, put some loctite on them, screw them back in, and then let them cure over night. If you should happen to discover you've lost a screw, they use the same size screws as the old CD ROM mounting screws from days of old. Minor point to note, but the T latch is on the side of the safe handle, whereas most tutorials I've seen have them on the side of the bite handle. Also, you might just want to remove the T latch, on one of mine it swings freely and gets in the way, whereas on the other it stays in place. Also, don't try squeezing to release the T latch, it wont work and that's how one of my screws snapped off. I was happy enough with the purchase to order a second set. On both sets the black knife is much stiffer (as others have noted). I put some oil on all of them (Sentry Tuf Glide Dry Film Rust Inhibitor -- was available for next day on Amazon,) and the second black knife really loosened up, whereas I suspect I just need to work on breaking in the first.

Great price but needs a little hands on time
For the price these are VERY nice. Good weight and fun. Downside: They show up pretty tight and the tolerances (locking it when open) were off. Solution: Grabbed the handles and wiggled it for awhile. Added a little olive oil to the rotational parts. Pinched the handle very tightly and forced it to lock then left it alone. Much better now and fun. Would be a great little gift for a friend or similar. I like it.

Product quality.
Not too bad, but cheaply made. One of the rivets of one of them fell out during very first use.

Worth the money
As a beginner, I have no major complaints about this product. It gets the job done and I’ve had a lot of fun messing around with it and doing simples tricks. My only complaint is that after a few minutes of use, the knife will get tight and it’ll get hard to do tricks. This gets really annoying but after trying to do more tricks on it, it will eventually loosen up again. I haven’t tried using some kind of lubricant but I’ve heard it helps a lot. Also this comes with 2 knives which is a huge plus, especially for this price point. I haven’t used these long enough to talk about their durability so maybe I’ll update this if they break in some way. Worth the money for a beginner and you probably won’t find a better deal from other sellers.

JUNK DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I bought these for my 15 year old son who wants to learn different tricks with butterfly knives. They are absolute garbage and a complete waste of money. When we received the knives they were very tight and needed to be lossened which was a chore in itself. You need a special tool to try an loosen the screws. My husband had to buy a special screwdriver at true value and still couldn't get the screws loose. In fact they screws became stripped so my husband used oil to help loosen them. This did work pretty well but due to my son being a beginner he kept dropping them which was very annoying because we have hardwood floors and uts extremely loud. The knives lasted all of one day before breaking. One of the screws that we couldn't get loose fell out and he lost it since they are so small. I have read that this is a common problem with this type of practice knife however. The company should consider adding replacement screws because they are impossible to find in a store. The knives are now completely useless and broken. I have considered returning them but they were fairly cheap so it's not worth the hassle to me. I will be purchasing my son a much better quality practice butterfly knife. Don't waste your money because if you buy these that's exactly what you are doing!

Great nice for practice
My grandson is taking karate. I wanted to use to practice with great. Please get a pack of two. They have no sharp edges whatsoever should I can’t hurt anybody they have no sharp points so he can use them in his karate class and learn how to use them properly and not hurt anybody the price was fantastic.

Both bolts came undone
Both bolts on the safe handle broke so it’s hard to spin and it literally arrived today it isn’t sturdy it will break that easily I am highly disappointed with it please keep this in mind if you are going to buy it but other than that it is a good trainers butterfly knife it’s a nice weight but the black one is a bit difficult to bolt closed those are my only thing but please make it so it doesn’t break so easily i have been wanting one for so long and when both broke it quite upset me yes it is a good product but the little bolt came undone I did the normal tricks and nothing more it should’ve been able to endure it and not become undone
