APCC 3/32" x 1000FT. Shock Cord/Bungee Cord - BLK

I purchased this to replace all the shock cord in my tent poles this past summer. This worked rather well. I fixed the tent poles one evening and then next evening the tent was being set up to be used all weekend! It was stout enough to thread through the fiberglass poles and had enough elasticity to do the job. This fall, I had taken out my hunting blind and noticed that the shock cords in those poles had become brittle and snapped. I replaced the cord in those poles just as easily as I did for the tent and was up and running the next time I used the blind.The only issue I saw was that it looked like the roll didn't contain a continuous piece; there were at least 4 ends that I could find on the roll. I tied a couple ends together and I hope that'll be the end of my splicing. It's not like I needed one continuous piece but if you say it's a 100', and you sell it on one roll, it should be one piece. It hasn't affected my usage yet and I will no doubt have to get rid of the roll, due to dry-rot, long before I get to my splice.

It worked exactly as i hoped and expected. I had three tent poles where the shock cords had broke. I was able to easily thread the cord through the poles. When I went camping the following week, pole setup was once again a breeze. I would buy again. Although, with 950 feet remaining on the spool, that is unlikely!

The cord seems to be good quality. Unfortunately the roll was not a single piece. It contained several smaller pieces.

Great price and product. It works great for the Bible bags I manufacturer. I use a pistol type hot-knife to cut the cord and seal it at the same time.
