Super-Duper Ball Kit | Bouncing Ball Laboratory Makes 6 Customized and vividly Colored spheroids to Play with

Great value. Instructions are easy to follow, project isn't too messy and the balls work well. Would buy again.

I was really excited to buy this for my husband, because he collects bouncy balls, and is a hobby guy. The kit is fun and does what you would expect, but after the balls have been made for a few days, they dry out and don't bounce much anymore. Worth the price though, for what you get out of it. Fun activity for kids.

My 4.5 year old brought home a "make your own bouncy ball" kit from day care but it seemed like the polymer powder was old / wouldn't form the necessary bonds and it led to the ball forming a rubbery barrier on the outside with dry powder on the inside that made the ball fall apart when extracting from the mold. This kit worked exactly as advertised. Make sure to gently shake down the powder inside the mold ("spherule") so it makes a dense pack. We dunked it into the water for 1.5 min and make sure to tap the mold gently on the bottom of the water container so the bubbles will escape. We took it out and let it sit for about 5 min and then very carefully opened the mold to remove the ball (which is quite sticky at that point). Set the ball someplace to dry for another 20 min or so and it will gradually be less sticky. Eventually it be smooth and dry and worked very well as a bouncy ball. Note that it will never work as well as a normal rubber bouncy ball, but it's awesome and my little one immediately wants another one. Note that if you shake down the powder to form a dense pack for each ball that the kit will only allow you to create 5.75 balls, not 6.

This kit contains 3 colors of polymers that congeal into a bouncing ball when placed under water for a bit. We had fun laying out the polymers into colored bands and making very vivid designs. Great Fun!Keep in a sealed container or the balls will dry out.

It's a very simple project for kids and they really liked it. It doesn't explain the science behind it and it says it makes 6 balls and that is accurate. The second time I ordered, I got two boxes because the kids want to make a lot of them.

Not quite what I expected. Did not meet my expectations for quality

Unfortunately my daughter said she already had one of these bouncing ball kits before. But she loved it just as much as the first time... Great for kids who like to experiment and create!!

Easy to make, but a day after the balls were made, they turned rock hard and didn’t bounce. They are more like a rock. Disappointed in this purchase.
