What can I say about this? It's a string winder with a cutter. They're always good to have a round. I've had this one for years and it's still working fine. I think they're all about the same no matter what brand you get. The only difference will be in quality and if they'll last or if they'll break easily. This one seems well made so no issues there. I'd buy more if I ever need more.

I first purchased one of these several years ago, and the design seems to have changed a bit since then. The winder is very tight and difficult to turn, although that can be fixed by loosening the screw slightly. A bigger issue in that the joint on the string cutter is very tightly riveted and takes some effort to open once you’ve cut a string. It all works well enough, but it’s not a tool you’d want to use if you had a lot of instruments to restring. Best used as a tool to keep in your guitar case for string changes at a gig or a jam.

Worked very well and can’t imagine trying to wind strings without. Wire cutters is convenient. I think it is good quality for the price and considering that changing strings is a frequent occurrence.

i love this winder, very well made, cuts old strings off easily,and lifts the string buttons out of acoustic guitars easily, i highly recommend this product

Works Great!! No problems using tools on my guitar

I had never restrung a guitar but watched a few videos to learn the process. Saw this tool on one and decided to try it out. The built-in cutter works great for cutting the strings. The puller works great to release the string, and the winder made my first install go by in about 15 minutes. Was even happier after I broke one and had to do it again. It only took me about five minutes to install, wind, stretch, and tune. Build quality left no concerns.

The winder is great. The cutter is terrible. It’s flimsy and doesn’t cut even the high E efficiently. Not worth it.

Great little tool for changing strings Tested on a 6 string acoustic, quality seems good and everything works perfectly as it should, machine head winder, peg puller and string cutter Will be interesting to see if the cutter works on my bass next time I change the strings
