Someone gave me my 1st knife from Home hero years ago and somehow my adult son broke the handle. This is an amazing knife, so I ordered another one. It is one of the best kitchen utensils I have. It is very sharp, cuts through the toughest meat membrane to the thickest. It slices, dices & julienne vegetables with ease. I hand wash it throughly and keep it in a special place in my kitchen for easy access. Easy to hold and the size is perfect. Love this knife. I would definitely recommend this knife.

Really great, thin knife, very sharp and cuts through vegetables and fruit easily. Great for peeling potatoes. Not too big not too small absolutely just perfect. Perfect, I love it.

They're dish washer safe. Very sharp. Ergonomic grip is nice. Great value. The quality seems very good.

This is for the 5 inch utility knife. I was expecting this knife to just be decent/okay as far as sharpness goes, not too sharp not too dull but this knife is actually very, very sharp. Works perfectly for cutting almost everything I need from fruits and vegetables to cutting off the tape from Amazon boxes I receive if I can't find my scissors. Just be very careful with the blade, keep your fingers and hands as far from the blade as possible, don't take any crazy risks or you'll be cleaning up a bloody mess but that's a given with any sharp knife right? While this knife is very good for cutting smaller things it's not so great for cutting thick cuts of meat like a brisket for example in my case. It can still get the job done for cutting thicker meats but I would suggest purchasing some kind of knife that specializes in cutting meat, which I need to do but I knew it wasn't a meat cutting knife anyway. Highly recommend this knife for cutting fruits, vegetables and most other smaller cutting tasks, definitely got my money's worth. Also recommend getting the KitchenIQ blade sharpener to keep that great blade sharp once it starts to dull which mine hasn't done and I've been using it every day for a good month or two.

They help when needed

This seemed like a nice cheap little knife. I thought it wound work well enough but I keep finding myself surprised. It cuts everything like it's butter. Yesterday I made a vegetable soup and cutting the celery was a breeze, no stringyness left for me on the bottom that I have to work at cutting. That has never happened for me so easily on any other knife. Tonight I cut the fat off around my pork and that was also the easiest it's ever been. I love it! I haven't had it too long (about a month I think) but I really hope it last. To be honest, even if it doesn't last tooooo long I'll most likely still get another. Really a great find. Oh, I do have to mention that another review mentioned rust along the Home Hero lettering and I have that too. It is a little strange but it's contained to just one letter for me so as long as that's it I'm fine with it.

I have only had this for a couple of months (Dec 2023-Jan 2024). So far so good. They are very sharp, so don’t grab it by the blade, because I did gently and I still got a cut on my finger. Be careful handling the knife and always put the cover back on when not in use.
