Excelent pair of sunglasses!!!!
Ok, quick and to the point: They're not Randolphs, but they look really cool!! They're light but sturdy and the polarized lenses really do a great job of blocking bright sunlight. I bought them for a beach trip and they held up super, they even fell into the to**et by accident and after I washed them with soap and water they were better than new. The only thing they don't hold up to is stupidity, I went into the water and lost them to a mean wave, oh well!! I would (maybe even will) buy them again 100%. Excellent value for the money, I have a pair of $600 Oliver Peoples and I enjoyed this pair thoroughly.

Great quality and sun protection at an amazing price
To the point: I highly recommend; They have effective polarized lenses that are easy on the eyes, a high-quality metal frame that does not feel cheap nor flimsy that’s lightweight yet sturdy, comfortable and durable, just great quality and great sun protection at an amazing price. My only con is Sungait does not offer non-polarized nor bifocal sunglasses. A longtime Ray-Ban owner these are comparable while maintaining that sophisticated Ray-Ban style. I own eight pair of Sungaits over the years since 2019, 3-pair of the ultralight rectangular and 5-pair of the aviators (BTW, I purchased all eight pair for less than what I paid for my one pair of Ray-Bans). Of course nothing compares head-to-head with Ray-Bans but of all the under $25 dollar priced sunglasses out there for me these are markedly above the competition even against some of the $40 - $50 pairs. I still wear all of them and I throw them around. I’ve found them strong and resilient over the years. I have no bent frames, no noticeable scratches or swirls (it helps that I clean the lenses by first holding under water to remove any abrasive grit and dust then dry with the lens cloth provided or a microfiber towel). I try to keep them in their bags but this is not always possible. I do have to occasionally bend the nose pads to fit properly but none have broken off yet. I did have one issue once that customer service handled promptly and to great satisfaction; they’re great. Why own so many? Like my readers, I leave a pair or two around in different locations so I always have a pair handy e.g. I put a pair or two in each of my two cars, I’ll throw a pair in my travel and gym bag, when I go to the beach, am doing something athletic like running, playing volleyball, tennis, etc. I do drop them on the ground but I’ve been lucky - no scratches.

Polarized glasses come in different builds
These glasses are some really nice looking comparatively similar pilot glasses. I wore them once and they do cut down on the sun exposure and make driving a pleasant experience with them. The glasses come with a nice pouch and a pad to clean the glass with. When looking at the two glasses side by side, these glasses appear to look very similar to the aviators, but they are definitely NOT a $250 pair of Polarized pilot glasses. After doing some research on polarized glasses, I found there are many different productions of polarized glasses and the types of tints that can be added are endless. 30 years ago the standard check for polarized aviators was to turn them 90 degrees and you get a black out. These newer production glasses might be 360 degree polarized, or partial polarized. Newer glasses may have different tints that help with seeing in water versus driving. All that being said, my previous rant about these glasses was slightly off with newer production techniques. These glasses are not the $300 Rayban glasses, but they are nice quality sunglasses at a basement bargain price.

Good design and appear to be well made.
55mm aviator sunglasses. Resembles the Randolph Engineering or American Optical aviator sunglasses I was issued in the military. They are well made and the lenses provide a clear view. I purchased the set that comes with the G15 lens and the brown lens. Good fit. Not too big not too small.

Great choice!!
These sunglasses are way better and beyond more sturdy than ones we could pick up on base at the BX/PX 20+ years ago; if you are a military person. These come with a very soft carry bag and nice silk cleaning cloth. I will keep mine in a hard shell case along with the bag and cloth. There are much more expensive ones out there but really like the old style look and sturdiness of these at this price point They fit nice and snug but not to the point where they pinch to a degree of of being painful or cause a headache. They do rest a little close to the face and brow that you may get some sweat or moisture on the inside of the lenses. They may lift away from your face if you furrow your brow too strongly. They rest very comfortably on the face and nose or even propped up on the scalp; if you are bald. The nose rest doesn’t seem to dig in too much on the nose or forehead. So….if you “Feel the need for speed” and you have “The Right Stuff”, get these shades. You will not be disappointed! I would, and probably will buy these again. Thank you to all you Vets out there for your service! 🇺🇸

Good function bad form
As far as the lens are good fine for night time driving. A few critters are still alive because of them actually. Anyway the reason I’m giving this 3 stars and not 5 is because of the build. The arms are weird and don’t bend behind the ear they are just straight with like a 5•-8• Ben in em. So forget looking down when your drop something or look down for any reason because they are gonna fall off lenses first too. Also I wear a hat a lot and yeah it just don’t work have to put the arms under my hat but that makes both the hat and glasses look dumb. If I put them over the hat they become loose. Also the tips of the arms are very hard so I find wearing these glasses about the 1&1/2 -2hour mark and they begin to get sore and it’s quite irritating. Look in a pinch they are great but I live in a town that’s heavily wooded and the town like to keep things dark so no street lights anywhere. Nothing but woods on both sides of the road as far as the eye can see with the occasional house to break things up. Even on the street I live on in a suburban area no street lights and everyone keeps things nice and dark. So these glasses are a big help but I’m looking for a better pair and plan on making these a back up / emergency pair. Anyway hope this helped.

Amazing quality, fantastic price
I've been eyeing this style of sunglasses for months and was considering a pair from Randolph but hesitated after reading a few reviews regarding their longevity. I'm not a stranger to $200 sunglasses but I do expect them to last a very long time if I'm going to invest that much. After reading so many fantastic reviews of the Sungait pair, I decided to give them a chance first. I've had them for about a month now -- I wanted to wear them regularly for a while before posting a review -- and I have to say, they easily meet and exceed the expectations I'd have had of the $200 pair. They're sturdy, rigid, and comfortable. The presentation of the packaging - from the box, to the micro fiber bag, to the adjustment tool that comes with it - all provide a customer experience of a much more expensive pair of glasses. If the sun shines at just the right angle I can see a bit of a reflection from inside the glasses, but then again they sit a bit further from my face than my previous go-to sunglasses did (Oakleys) and I've experienced this before with aviator-styles. It's not something that happens regularly, just with very specific light source direction. The lenses are polarized, which can make some screens and whatnot a bit hard to read, but again this isn't specific to these glasses or this brand; this is just what polarized lenses do. I love the look of these glasses. I've always felt like "standard" aviator glasses are a bit too big for my face and preferred the more squared-off style. The "bayonet" ear pieces allow the glasses to slip under hats easily without any discomfort. The rubber protection material for the nose pieces and ear pieces are soft but not "sticky" soft; I don't think they're going to wear out quickly or get gooey if the sunglasses are left in the sun for a bit. All in all, I'm very impressed with these glasses and the company. I reached out to customer service with a question and they were fast, responsive, and went far above and beyond my expectations. I have no reservations about purchasing other styles from Sungait or to re-purchase these glasses if I did happen to lose or damage them.

Excellent Glasses
Wanted a pair of aviator style sunglasses and didn’t want to pay a crazy amount. Searched about, read the reviews for these and chose them. They arrived the next day and are superb (polarised lenses too). Really comfy, well packed (maybe they could have supplied 2 glasses bags rather than just one so I did need to buy another soft bag from a different supplier). Only worn them a couple of times, but no complaints at all so far. Seem far too good for the price paid.

Amazing quality
I wanted to order a frame and convert it to power specs, I checked few reviews and made myself clear and ordered, as soon as I opened the package I am in love with how good it looks and feels. Unfortunately I can't use it as it is due to my eye power, But I'll definitely buy another pair to use as normal shades soon. Thanks for the superb quality and for the free surprise as well in the box. Lots of love to this brand.
