I returned this because, while it is very attractive and apparently well-made, it is very stiff and my dog doesn't seem to like wearing it.

Great product

This is the second harness I’ve bought from True Love. The first was orange and is in great shape after over two years of use but I wanted something pretty for my girl so I was thrilled when I saw the pink in her size.This harness has a lot of padding which was very important! I had tried at least 6 other harnesses, all of which left red, sore areas on my dog’s chest and behind her front legs. (Even a different style by the same maker hurt her). This is the only one that I’ve found that seems comfortable for her. It is also very solidly built. When you have a 120lb dog who is much stronger than you are, you appreciate quality in a dog harness! She is a Great Dane, and a bit on the smaller side for her breed, and wears a large. There is an inch or two of expansion possible on each side buckle. The neck does not adjust at all-that part is one size.It does not prevent pulling. However, it has a front clip which I’ve found vital with a big dog. the front clip is good for having greater control over your dog. It allows you to quickly redirect them with little effort, whereas the clip on the back really doesn’t give you any control. Luckily my girl is a pretty good walker but still tends to get excited when she has children run by or ride past on a bike and the front clip allows me to “steer” her back on track more easily. Lastly, the handle on the back is great! It is big enough for a larger hand, and nicely padded. I do not need it except in one instance where a smaller dog attacked my dog. However, when parents bring their small children to pet her, I hold it to give them a greater sense of comfort with her large size.

This is the 4th iteration I buy for my two dogs. They changed the design to look sleeker, though. I hope this new design is as sturdy as the previous one. Assuming that's the case, I'll be back again in 1.5 years.

There's nothing I can't say that is bad about this product. I've owned 3 of these. 1 was for my small dog that passed away and I gave that away to a neighbor, 1 black harness which I gave it away to help a friend of mine help her dog on walking better (front loop helps) and then I purchased another for my dog just so she can have the bright pink color (she is black so it made sense to have the bright color). I highly recommend this product over and over again to people. Its comfortable for my dog and its sturdy. I love the 2 loops on the front and top giving you options on where to put the leash (my dog walks better with the front loop). The handle at the top is great to use especially for traveling (ill put the seat belt through it). My dogs love this harness and I do too! Great material and high visibility on it too😊

Both our dogs have measurements which fall right between medium and small, so we bought one medium and one small and found that the medium fits one dog better and the small fits the other one better. A more barrel chested dog that falls just inside small size will do better in a medium and a more spindly narrow dog will do better in a small. I wish there was an in-between size because both harnesses on both dogs are maxed to the biggest or the smallest they can go.As for the experience using them, the dogs seem to enjoy them and I enjoy the fact that it spreads the load out on them instead of focusing on their necks, as they both have always pulled on leashes owing to their training when young. The carry handle doesn't work very well but it's a nice point to grab at when holding them back in a hurry or when you need to lift them into a vehicle, just don't think it'll be like picking up a briefcase, grab the back end too.

I really like this product but it doesn’t fit my Bassett Hound very well. I love the “luggage handle” on top of the harness. It’s great for when an excited or scared dog needs a little extra security.

Switched up harnesses because I didn't like the way his first one was fitting. IT has an o-ring at the shoulder and was catching his hair. I love this one and so does Teddy. I like that the way the back strap comes around the barrel of his chest [vs right behind his legs], gives him more freedom in walking, and I feel like I have better control with his "sled dogging" when he see's his nemesis....... SQUIRRELS!! [He only weights 38 lbs and but feels like 80 lbs of pull'] Haven't been able to check out the reflective aspects of the harness it's self yet.

I had ordered the medium harness, but it was too small for my dog. I decided to order the large one. However, the large harness is ill fitted on my husky; it chokes her when she pulls and obstructs her shoulders.

Despite appearances in the photos supplied by the manufacturer, this harness is NOT adjustable in the front. Unless your dog happens to be the exact size of the harness, this product is a waste of money.
