Easy for young girls to assemble.

My daughter had a lot of fun making this. The directions were great.

My niece, who has autism, absolutely loved stitching the letters and putting the pillow together. We used an embroidery hoop to help hold the letters in place and this made all the difference. We did run out of thread, but that was preference more than anything else. We never used the silver thread.It was a lot of fun.

It looks like something a 7-year-old girl could easily make. I gave it to someone I do not know, therefore I am unsure of her reaction.

My 12 year old niece LOVES her pillow! I am not giving it 5 stars because of the lack of directions. For example, the included thread appears to be standard embroidery floss. Should you separate the strands, or use them as is? There were no instructions at all. I opted to separate and use a double strand for sewing the letters. Although the letters had stitch holes, the needles were difficult for her to push through the felt. There was quite a bit of floss left over, but there would not have been enough to use unseparated. We went around the letters twice to create a solid color line on each letter instead of the "every other stitch" shown on the box. Picking which colors to use on each letter was very enjoyable for her. I found the amount of stuffing to be adequate. The final knot tying went quickly, but the beads were too much trouble to tie in (again, directions would have been helpful!). We will make a bracelet out of the beads instead.

We bought this at the beginning of quarantine for my 10 year old daughter to keep busy. Its a great sewing craft and she was having fun, until she ran out of thread and couldn't finish it. We were disappointed that not enough thread was included with the craft. At the time all stores were closed, we coulnd not go out and try to buy more thread. She used exactly what she was supposed to use and didn't waste anything. She made sure she used the same colors for each letter pictured on the box. This craft is for kids and should have included enough thread to finish it. Actually. since its made for kids it should have had extra thread in each color to take into account kids make mistakes. If we hadnt have been supervising her she would have run out of thread earlier.

Could have been better.

Great kit for basic sewing and crafts. My 7 year old was able to follow the instructions with no difficulty. Really like that the sewing holes are pre punched to make it easier on beginners. The instructions are brightly colored and very easy to follow. Kit provided more than enough craft supplies to get the project done even with the occasional mishap. Highly reccomend for those looking for a neat kit to introduce their kids to crafting.

The pillow is a nice craft for kids to make on their own. Its good both for boys and girls.Unfortunately, the seller had previously opened the pack and the green embroidery thread is missing from the box!! So, please check the contents immediately after you receive the box.

My daughter was thrilled with this. The instructions are very clear, the materials are high quality. My daughter is almost 7 and she's able to do most of it herself, need just a bit of help sewing the letters to the pillow as there are no guides for that. I was mistaken and thought it was 2 pillows when I​ bought it, but it's just one double-sided pillow, but I still felt it was worth the cost as I got it when it was on sale.

Bought as a gift but I hope she has lots of fun making it

Made this with my kids as a Christmas present for grandma. Ages 5 and 3. It was fun and turned out just like the picture. The felt is a little flimsy when tying and can stretch or tear, and there isn't a ton of stuffing... but neither thing ruined the result or experience for us. Lot's of fun, thank you.
