I have had MANY, and I mean many wireless units over the years all the way to Nady. I've had full-pro rackmount units and smaller line 6 units and portable "bug" type units and the Boss unit is amazing. Very natural sound, great build quality, reliable. The only thing I wish they had was either a quality case or even better a charging case. That would completely put them over the top but they sound incredible and that is ultimately what really matters.

This is a great product! I've been using this with a variety of instruments and its very simple and easy to use. Compact enough that it doesn't take up much room at all and easy to throw into a gig bag. A little pricey, but the quality is amazing. Little to no latency and the sound quality is amazing. No more tripping over cables or cable routing. just plug and play, it doesn't get much better. I've had this for a couple years now and it continues to perform like new! Highly recommend getting yourself one!

On my UA Arrow interface the Hi-Z TS cable input jack has a slight recess / countersink and the WL-20 receiver will not insert fully. Not sure if there is anything in the TS spec that defines the dimensions for the plug and jack, so not sure who to blame on this. If your amp / interface has a similar countersink, you may end up with the same problem. Looks like I'll be forced to do some messy short TS male/female cable thing to make this work, or maybe switch to the WL-50 and use a short patch cable. Update: The WL-20 works great with my UA Apollo Twin and UA Apollo 8p interfaces. No problem seating the receiver, sound is great and no noticeable latency. So I think the blame mostly has to go to Universal Audio for recessing the Hi-Z jack, but Boss should have taken this possibility into account when designing the receiver. I suspect the Arrow is not the only device that might have this issue.

I am forever stepping on my patch cables when I play the electric guitar and found the wireless system when I was looking around on Amazon for other guitar gear. Boss has a good name when it comes to musical gear so I decided to try a pair of these out. Like most of the other reviews stated the components sync up quickly and you can charge both up while they are connected physically. These are very easy to use. I am still wearing the first charge down as far as I can and it's been several hours so far. The 10 hour charge claim seems to be true so far. I initially thought that my wireless signal was getting clipped at low volume but it turned out to be one of my sound pedals. Once I figured that out I was able to hear the full sustain from my guitars. If you plan on playing guitar often I think this is a good product (considering the price). When I think of how many times I have had to fix or replace patch cables (or fix a busted port on one of my guitars) I think these will be worth it.
