Not as good as advertised
This thing is horrible. Can't apply pressure to it when spooling line. Y own this if u can't apply much pressure to ur spool. IDK

Know what you’re purchasing
First off there are no instructions. I’m OK with that but the tensioner is confusing. I bought the spooler since I fish with high test strength line (70-100 lb) so the line comes on larger spools. The specifications given indicate it can hold the larger spools (by width) but cannot accommodate the spool diameter. OK, so I’m limited to smaller spools. However, there is no way to get the correct tension without breaking the cheap plastic. Get one made of metal
